POV

From every direction that I turn to, a smile weak on my face and a laugh escapes my lips as I acknowledge the endless grey land that I stand on, my brown hair shadows over my eyes as I look down, the familiar pain in my throat becoming evident by each passing second.

My already slow, thin and short breaths turn uneven as I tightly clutch the ends of my purple dress, with one hand while the other on my chest, trying to keep it together, that it's ok even when I feel suffocated.

My smile fades and I fall down to the already cold and unwelcoming ground as I let out my strangled sobs into nothing, the air becoming moist as water slowly emerges from the darkest corners of were I crumble.

Panic rose as I frantically and quickly rose but I felt the water weight my body, bounding me in place.

My voice cries out to nothing and no one while my lungs are crushed by the pressure that surrounds me. Screaming, crying and thrashing for any way out, I feel my body compl submerged, the cold ground know longer under the soles of my feet as I try and try to get air.

My lungs burn and I release a cry, causing multiple bubble of kept up oxygen to float endlessly. Seeming to be in one place, feeling the every pump of blood that my heart shares pulse to me, my mind goes numb with nothing but the endless pain my family and friends have brought.

All the years I kept a smile on my face, only for them to turn their backs on me when I cry, all those days I stayed up to hear their sobs in the early nights, only for them to scream at me to go away.

I should be angry, upset and furious. But I've done this for so long that I'm numb to it all.

As I feel the last bubbles of air leave my stiff body, betrayal writing itself in my heart I except my fate and close my eyes. The pain no longer there I smile one last time as a stray tear falls down my face.

Luna POV

After teleporting into an ocean, my eyes widened when I saw the girl sinking.

With my own oxygen supply and helmets I began frantically swimming towards her, the natural light guiding me to her faint form. But there was a current that pulled me away from the girl, twirling me in circles as the girl continued to sink further.

Gritting my teeth and using my boosters for a short amount of time I reached out both hands to grab her while the currents, by all means tried to stop me.

I grabbed her body.

Rising into the surface and releasing a breath and her head limp on my shoulder, I attach my oxygen mask onto her face then ran across the energy platforms I made above the water.

Getting far enough from the pull while carrying the girl bridal, I managed to tap my wrist com and teleport before being submerged once again.

POV

Silently opening my eyes I notice that I was on my bed, feeling my face flushed from the stream of liquid that ran down my face.

Turning my already sore eyes I see the window opened, the thin curtains swaying cautiously in the wind and I see a figure standing near my bed.

I stare as the black tinted face helmet makes a sound and opens while they take their gloved hands and take the helmet off, revealing their heterochromatic black hair  with white Strick's and blue  with silver shining eyes, that reflected in the moonlight.

she stared at the girl, with blank eyes, though, the atmosphere wasn't awkward if anything it was mutual.

"Hey, I'm midnight" the girl in the blue exo suit spoke, but ber voice was unusual, it held a tone of boredom yet still Heald amusement and joy behind it, it was unique.

Everything about Luna was unique. Her hair, her eyes and even her voice, it seemed that all of it was dualed.

She walked closer to the nervous girl, her expression turning soft with every step.

"Chloe, it's ok to not be ok" the words that were once solid and grounded, sounded distant yet soft "the weight you put on yourself will continue to crush you until you accept that not everyone is on your side and forever will be"

Midnight shared her gaze sharp but warn as she looked at the girl who looked near to busting out in tears. The next thing she felt was a warm embrace and a few tears, the air around her getting misty as her vision got clouded.

The distant sound of an annoying beeping alarm wakes up the brunette, chloe searching the room, soon realizing that the girl is gone, everything, the window, helmet.

She glanced at her alarm '5:48' it flashed, taking in a harsh breath, thinking of her new day with a groan she began getting ready.

. . . . .

'arggggg, whyyyyy!?.'

A girl mentally sighed as she plumped her head back on to her desk after reading the clock, her brown hair swaying by each movement 'seventeen more minutes...' she said to no one but herself embracing her fate of boredom.

While she waited for the boring class to end, her eyes drifted off to the girl that sat behind her, a few chairs to the side, her black hair tilted downwards along with her face as she poured all of her attention to her pencil drawing in her book.

She had a a single strick of white hair on the left side of her face that stood out like a sore eyes, not to mention her nearly navy blue eyes that came along with her. Luna

To be honest, the name suited her well. She was a quiet one, but  certainly not a push over, she's also sarcastic most of the time chilled and laid back but you could always see her tensed shoulders whenever she socialized. There were moments were she would ignore your entire existence and yet show the kindest of gestures every once in a while.

The lunch bell rang.

Everyone grabbed their things and began walking towards the cafeteria, the brunette eyes Luna as she walked out the door.

Huffing, the girl picked up her packed bag and walked out the doorway, immediately bumping into some one "Chloe, what do you want?" Luna asked the brunette with a quirked brow.

In the early years, when the Tsuku-Yume meteorite first made impact people awoken with four different abilities. Telepathy, the most common out of all four powers, giving the bearer the ability to enter people's minds, memories and secrets.

Teleportation, gives the wilder endless possibilities of transportation through anywhere and anytime in space.

Those who were gifted the rare  power of Telekinesis, obtained the the skill to move anything that cought their eye, towards or away them.

And finally, the ungifted. A part of the population who are powerless, the lowest in the food chain and looked down apon.

Even though the were discharged as powerless, the ungifted always had a tuff of white hair somewhere in their hair, and in this case Luna.

Luna was part of the Ungifted, so they called it but the truth is that those with the unique strands of hair are gifted with two powers, as well as the ability to enter, shape and stop dreams and Luna was a part of them,

Only problem was that, she cant tell a soul.

Fortunately, she's been able to keep a secret for the past two years. Unfortunately Chloe belonged to the common percentage of Telepathy, and of all people the brunette chose Luna to interrogate by the topic 'why some people were born with no powers.

There were a few like Luna in Novera highschool, only problem was that she wasn't to fond of them.

Silence was the girl's only answer which tested Luna's patience. Grumbling something inaudible and rolling her eyes she began walking away "Go bother someone els-" "Hey Luna..." The name was lazily said while she simply let out a groan when she intsan recognized the voice "...shit"
