Hey guys, this is my third song. I wrote it a while ago. This song is highly inspired by Billie Eilish's song skinny. I loved that song and I relate to it. The emotions and the feelings of that song are amazing. And so, i wrote this song inspired by it. Its kind of like my version. Like, what i had been dealing with for years. So yeah, i hope you guys like it and credit goes to Billie for inspiring it.
Thank you!

(Intro)
People tell me "you look fabulous" now that im skinny.
Wish i had heard that, before i wrecked me.
(Verse 1)
I didnt want to walk on this road, but they pushed me here.
They didnt notice the glint in my eyes, even if they did, they didnt care.
I was a sick child and then they made me a sick child.
Burned my girlhood, and then looked around for help, when the fire went wild.
(Pre chorus)
I betrayed me, again, last year when turned my face away from mirrors.
I betrayed me, again, when i stool on the scale and became my own killer.
(Chorus)
People tell me "you look fabulous" now that im skinny.
Wish i had heard that, before i wrecked me.
Now, my, tongue doesnt like the taste of anything if not water.
And i wish i was never, someone's daughter.
People tell me "you look fabulous" now that im skinny.
(Verse 2)
Questions on my looks, i didnt want to answer.
I was painting a picture, now look at me a dancer.
Screamed at the sky and rain fell down on me.
Screamed at the mirror, and it broke apart but not my body.
(Pre chorus)
I betrayed me, again, last night by avoiding a plate.
I betrayed me, again, thinking this is my fate.
(Chorus)
People tell me "you look fabulous" now that im skinny.
Wish i had heard that, before i wrecked me.
Now, my, tongue doesnt like the taste of anything if not water.
And i wish i was never, someone's daughter.
People tell me "you look fabulous" now that im skinny.
(Bridge)
Called me names i beat myself for.
I had done my best, yet they demanded more.
I had faith in me, now ive lost my hopes.
Their voices are around my neck, tight as a rope.
Told me ill be better looking if i had my stomach flat.
So i hid it, everytime i sat.
Crying at nights, throwing up.
Looking at the sky oh, i need help.
Hearing the cruel words of a king, even a peasant would scream.
So what right did i not have to snarl when they took from me, my dreams.
(Outro)
People tell me "you look fabulous" now that im skinny.
Wish i had heard that, before i wrecked me.
