Chapter 23---- Unexpected date 2

Everything was good... Yutong and Zhan Yao's relationship was going good.. Yunlan didn't love Shen Wei but he takes good care of him and Wei also start to change into a better person with the presence of Yunlan by his side..

Yunlan was almost over his wife as it was last month and Yunlan don't want to take any risk at this stage..

"Shen Wei, are you feeling okay? You're not overexerting yourself, are you?" Yunlan worriedly ask and Shen Wei smiles "I'm fine, Yunlan.. Really! I'm just pregnant, not fragile"

"I know, I know.. I just want to make sure. Let me get you a glass of almond milk..!" Yunlan said "Oh, okay.. but only if you promise to stop fussing over me like an old hen..!" Shen Wei teased him

"I promise.. (hands him a glass of milk) Here, drink this.." Yunlan was so loving towards him

"Thanks, Yunlan!" He said and drinks the milk with smile but Yunlan senses sadness on his face "Today is your appointment, right?" He asks and Wei nod.. "Let's go then!" He help the other to stand and they walk out hand in hand.. Shen Wei was smiling but Yunlan can see the sadness in his eyes.. but he don't know why?

Doctor examines Wei and tell Yunlan something which worries him as well..

"Yunlan your baby and Shen Wei both are fine but Wei seems budenised.. Like he is stressed for something and this may create difficulties for him and baby! I suggest you to keep him happy.."

Yunlan understand and Shen Wei comes and sit with them.. he smiles at the other two before he looks at his husband.. "Let's go home, Yunlan.. I feel tired!"

Yunlan thinks something "Shen Wei, get ready! I have a surprise for you..!" This makes him curious all of a sudden "What is it?"

"No questions, let's go!" They stands and without any warning Yunlan picks him up in his arms making the doctor chuckle as well but Shen Wei blushes "I'm heavy?"

"It's okay, I'm strong enough to pick my wife and child in my arms with ease..!" He just makes Shen Wei redder and he walks out..

After sometime they reach a beautiful park.. and Yunlan help him to get off the car.. "Ta-da! I wanted to take you somewhere peaceful and relaxing..!" Yunlan was feeling proud. Shen Wei looks around with a beautiful smile

"It's lovely! The flowers are gorgeous..!" He was delighted and Yunlan become happy "I'm glad you like it. Let's take a walk.."

They stroll hand in hand, enjoying the scenery..

"This is so nice. Thank you, Yunlan.." He was happy and smiling "Anything for you, my friend.." His words gives a slight shock to Wei but he smile and don't want to spoil Yunlan's mood and his surprise..

They find a bench and sit down, watching the ducks in the pond.. "This is perfect..!" Shen Wei said contentedly

"I'm glad you're happy, Shen Wei. That's all that matters to me.." Yunlan said softly

As they sat on the bench, Yunlan put his arm around Shen Wei's waist, pulling him close. They watched the ducks swim in the pond, enjoying the warm sun on their faces.

Shen Wei leaned his head on Yunlan's shoulder "This is so peaceful, I feel like we're in our own little world.." Wei slowly said his words

Yunlan smiled, kissing the top of his head "We are, our own little world, just for us..!"

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, taking in the beauty of nature. Then Yunlan stood up, pulling Shen Wei with him "Let's get some ice cream," he said, all grinning.

Shen Wei laughed "You know the way to my heart,"

They walked to the ice cream truck parked nearby and ordered their favorite flavors. As they licked their cones, they strolled around the park, enjoying each other's company.
