COURTROOM N°1

*You ran into court, you saw Dan along with his advocate, he looked surprised seeing you, but he didn't open mouth*

*You also saw the prosecutor walking in, you recognised it being one of the townsfolk, but you cant quite remember who it is*

*You sat down, you registered as a witness, waiting for the judge to appear*
...

...

Guard: "They're late."

Guard(2): "What's the hold up?"

*After what feels like an eternity, you see a familiar looking statue jump in, going in the judge's seat and standing, the statue stomped the ground, almost crashing the seat in the process*

Statue: "ORDER!!! ORDER I SAY!!!"

*The gallery shut up*

Statue: "The court is now in session for the case of... THE KING!!!"

*The gallery stared at the statue with confused looks*

Prosecutor: "Ahem.. The prosecution is ready, your honor."

Defense: "The defense is ready, your honor."

Statue: "Prosecutor Deska, speak!!!"

Prosecutor: "Yes, yes, ahem.. The king has declared himself guilty of the ownage AND use of the ice dagger, and we have 2 witnesses to confirm this.. This trial should already be over with this info."

Statue: "Understood, now call the witnesses!!!"

Prosecutor: "Yes, your honor..
The prosecution calls to the stand, guard Tern!"

*The guard spoke, saying how the cruel king "endangered" the people of roadtown and how "selfish" he is*

Prosecutor: "Next, i call the officer Var!

*The officer spoke about how the cruel king has already spoken himself guilty, and how he should be put to jail immediately*

Prosecutor: "Officer.. You arrested the king after his confession, yes?"

Officer: "Yes, that's exactly what i did."

Prosecutor: "Did the king show any resistance?"

Officer: "No, he did not."

*The officer goes out of the stand, the prosecutor exchanging a glare with Dan*

Advocate: "Ehm.. Uh.. The defense.. Uh.."

Judge: "WHAT?!?! SPEAK!!!"

Advocate: "The D-defense.. Calls.. The witness.. to the stand?"

*You looked at the advocate in shock, how could Jim hire someone so ridiculously bad at their job?*

*You go to the stand, and briefly state Dan's innocence, you then go back to your seat*

Statue: "Very well!!! Now, i want THE KING!!! To get to the stand."

*Dan walked in to the stand, and the Prosecutor walked closer*

Judge: "King, you may speak!!!"

Dan: "...Yes, your honor."

*Dan stays in silence for a few seconds*

"I.. I was in possession of the ice dagger."

*The gallery becomes loud, with lots of people speaking*

Judge: "ORDER!!! ORDER!!!"

*The statue stomps the ground again, shutting up the gallery*

Dan: "I made use of the ice dagger.. To help my people. I wanted BLACKROCK kingdom's existence to keep being."

*The Prosecutor looks at Dan*

Judge: "Prosecutor, ask questions!!!"

*The prosecutor clears his throat*

Prosecutor: "Your 'majesty'.. You literally confessed the ownage of the ice dagger, yes?"

Dan: "...Yes. I have."

Prosecutor: "And.. That you have made use of it, correct?"

Dan: "Correct.."

Prosecutor: "Do you not realize what you have done? Just how many people have SUFFERED becuase of you?"

*The defense seemed to want to say something, but they were too shaken and remained in silence*

Dan: "I am aware that i may have done damage.. However, it was not for malicious purpose: I.. I did it for my people.. But-"

Prosecutor: "And you seriously think that you can come out innocent?!"

Dan: "...I... I have learnt that..."

Prosecutor: "Oh, sure, you learned, you're suddenly all good and perfect, you are gonna promise to never do it again, ooh!"

Dan: "..."

Prosecutor: "You should be ashamed, you're going to prison for the rest of your life, knowing you did NOTHING but harm, NOTHING other than disrupting the peace, NOTHING for-"

Dan: "I WAS FORCED TO DO IT!!!!"

Prosecutor: "..."

Statue: "..."

Gallery: "..."

*Dan takes a deep breath*

Dan: "When i was young, i remember...
My parents were always telling me how i would have been the next king, how i would rule BITTERTWINS, how everyone would have been happy.."
*Dan takes a short pause*

"And then one day..
he killed them all.
I heard them. Their screams as their flesh got torn apart. I saw them. Splattered on the floor, soaked with blood.
And then.. He arrived to me.
And he.. Gave me the ice dagger.
'Dont let anyone know.' he spoke.
Then i ran.
I ran for hours, maybe even days.
I remember feeling miserable, weak, until i found the BLACKROCK castle.
I got taken in..
And they treated me well.. Like i was their son.."

*Cruel king sheds a tear*

"And then.. They saw the potential in me.
One day, i was proclaimed King.
And i still hid away the ice dagger even after being proclaimed.
When i became king, i started hearing voices..
'They're gonna die like your parents!'
'You have to change the future before it's too late!'
