chapter 4 - Can't Erase Time

As Baxter looked around the house for any clues.
He spots an envelope on the nightstand in the bedroom. He picked it up opened it and began to read. Thanks to the ability of insight he was given by the orb. he began understanding it more and more. Then he seen something about that man's memories written in the note.

It read
( I told you I would give you everything for your estate. The agreement we had expired and now will be at summary execution
By the hand of the twilight shades )

Is that why that man was killed and his soul ripped from his chest. Are those things
Twilight Shades. In the back of Baxter's mind was those things haunting him. But something made him be brave his family's memories.

Baxter then knew this world is called Vell.
Almost like hell but somehow different and the same in a sense. This world was dark but also filled with light like a twilight dimension.

Baxter's heart raced as he continues to read the ominous note left behind by the mysterious man. The mention of the twilight shades sent shivers down his spine, but he knew he had to push forward in order to uncover the truth behind his family's memories and the strange events unfolding in the realm of Vell.

With the orb's insight guiding him, Baxter set out on a journey to unravel the mystery surrounding the twilight shades. As he traversed the dark and twisted landscape of Vell, he encountered other creatures in a field a few miles from the estate. These were no ordinary creatures but was calmer than the hostile nightshades. One passed by and quickly wisped away for some odd reason.

Baxter then knew he wasn't truly alone in this land. But a weird sense befell him as an unknown man approached out of the wood work. Arthur Colt he uttered what brings you here he said after his name.
As Arthur Colt spoke to Baxter, his presence exuded a sense of wisdom and authority. He spoke in a calm and soothing voice, offering to help Baxter on his quest to uncover the truth behind the twilight shades and the mysterious man who had left the ominous note.

Baxter was hesitant to trust Arthur at first, but something about the man's demeanor put him at ease. Arthur explained that he had been a resident of Vell for many years and had extensive knowledge of the realm and its inhabitants. He revealed that the twilight shades were ancient beings that existed outside of time, able to manipulate and alter memories at their will.

As Baxter and Arthur delved deeper into the mystery, they discovered that the mysterious man who had left the note was a powerful man who had made a deal with the twilight shades to gain control of the estate. However, time was running out, and the twilight shades had come to collect what was owed to them.

Baxter and Arthur drew their guns and faced countless challenges and obstacles, from encountering hostile nightshades to navigating through labyrinthine caves and forests. Along the way, they uncovered fragments of Baxter's family memories, piecing together the events that had led to their tragic fate.
