This is very short, it's only like 800 words. There's no specific time-line, and I don't think there's a specific amount of time they've been dating in this. That's for you to decide.

----------------------------------

Lance laid peacefully on Keith's bed, awaiting for his boyfriend to arrive. It was one of the those rare moments where Lance was spending his time reading, rather than doing something else. It had been a hard, long day. His muscles were pushed beyond what he'd like, mainly for comfort. He had taken a shower not too long prior; his hair was wet, and he was in his robe, only in boxer briefs underneath. Earlier, he was impatiently waiting for Keith, but being impatient had gotten boring.

Finally, after what feels like forever, Keith walked into his room. Almost instantly he noticed Lance lying on his bed "Reading, are we?" Keith pointed out, amusement clear in his voice. A small smirk of a smile showed on his face. He'd never seen Lance read a book, he always assumed he didn't take joy in it. Lance's eyes trailed the bottom of the page, his head slowly turning to face Keith, but his eyes didn't stray away from the page until he finished reading it. Keith adored the way Lance's face looked, concentrated and focusing on his book and his book alone, but still trying to let Keith know he heard him, and to let him finish this page first. Keith still stood near the door; it closed behind him. Lance's eyes lifted off the book and towards Keith, a soft, yet big, no teeth smile gracing his beautiful face. "Got bored waiting for you." Lance replied. Keith's features softened, yet they weren't stiff beforehand. Lance is just like that though. He's just able to make Keith relax beyond what he thought was possible. Keith's small smile never left his face, sometimes he thought it to be impossible to look at Lance without feeling the overwhelming urge to breakout into smiles. Being alone with Lance though, Keith has realized he sucks at containing the urge, and almost always follows through. He walked over to Lance, Lance closing his book and plopping it down on the ground next to the bed as he got closer. Lance's knees were up in the air, his back and his feet rested against the bed. Keith came up and sat on his knees behind Lance's. The two were facing each other, both with small smiles on their faces. Keith's hands rested on the tops of Lance's knees. He pressed soft kisses on them where his hands weren't covering. He slid his hands down the outsides of Lance's legs, stopping their movements halfway down, though his thumbs would occasionally rub back and forth. The two talked a little, mainly about their day. The two didn't see each other too much today. It was almost only at meals, only other time would be passing or seeing each other in the hallways of the ship. Lance's legs parted slightly, causing Keith, whose chest was leaning against them, to lean forward a bit at the sudden movement. Keith removed his hands from Lance's legs. He sat up, so he was standing on his knees. His hands went right back to Lance's legs, this time his whole hands rubbed up and down, soothingly. Lance continued to talk about his day, and what he did. Keith was happy to listen. He was always happy to listen. He thought Lance's voice was amazing and his facial expressions as he talks is something Keith has always liked about him. Lance changed what he was talking about, instead of speaking of what he had done, he said what he was thinking "all day". Keith's cheeks aglow a pinkish-red and Lance explains how he missed Keith, and how it was "super boring without you" as Lance said. Keith knows that Lance likes his company, likes to spend time doing anything with him, but it always made butterflies flutter in his stomach when Lance actually says it. Keith parted Lance's legs more, giving him room to lean further down, setting his hands on each side of Lance's head. Lance's legs moved too, they moved to wrap themselves around Keith's waist and part of his back, causing Keith's back to fall down so he wasn't on his hands and knees, but rather his hands only. Keith leaned further down, now only using his elbows and arms to hold himself up. His face not too far from Lance's. His hands moved and slightly wiggled underneath Lance's head, then stopped. Lance's hands went up to Keith's face, his hands holding Keith's cheeks. Keith then leaned down. Connecting their lips in a sweet kiss. It wasn't just a peck, but it didn't last five years either. But it meant everything to them. They, meant everything to them. Both of them look forward to the other all day long. They enjoy each other's company, their time.
