I'm Alone (Rythna Fanfiction)

Awake

I woke up to the sound of water rushing out of a pipe. That's strange we don't have a shower in Blackrock... Then I realized this wasn't my room, and the memories came flooding back to me. The bomb, the explosion, Zoey.... Oh god Zoey! I looked around again. Wait, I was exploded and was flying through the air, where am I?  I seem to have been bandaged had a soft blanket over me. Wait, wheres my mask?  I saw it laying on the bedside table and quickly put it over my scars. The sound of the water stopped and a few minutes later a man came out of a door to my left. I looked up and saw the last person I would want to see. The Scientist. I froze.

"Oh good your up! I was wondering when I would get to talk to you! Your Rythian right?" He was talking cheerily like he didn't know me, but I could see through his act.

"Don't play games with me scientist, we both know each other very well. Now what do you want from me?" I spat.

He looked confused and slightly hurt at my comment. "Actually I think we've only talked once, and all I want to know is why you fell from the sky."

"Because you exploded me you fucking idiot!"

Lalna's P.O.V.

"W-What?"

"You heard me, you set of the nuke under my base, and now Zoey's dead because of you." He spat.

It took me a few seconds to comprehend what he said. "I-I didn't do that! I'd never hurt anyone! I've only made nukes for self defense but I've not used a single one! They're still in my lab! I haven't seen anyone for weeks and this is the first time I've talked to you since the start of the world!"

A look of confusion crossed his face for a split second before he said "Stop with the games Lalnable, we both know the truth. Now give me back my sword and I'l leave." He then attempted to get out of the bed, but winced and sat down again.

"My name's Lalna not Lalnable, theres obviously been a mistake because I haven't done any of those things, and your not going anywhere until your fully healed."

Rythian's P.O.V.

He seemed pretty distressed but I wasn't going to fall for his tricks again.

"Shut up Lalnable, your a monster and you deserve to die."

Then he did something that I would never expect. He started to cry.

"W-Why would you s-say th-that? I h-haven't done anything to y-you! I even g-got you out of th-that crater! I h-healed you! And you call m-me a m-monster? Th-thats the m-meanest th-thing ever!"

He then proceeded to sit down and started sobbing into his knees.

"N-Nobody e-ever likes m-me! I should just d-die! N-Nobody would e-even n-notice.." He continued crying and I just sat there shocked. Then Xephos crashed through the door.

"Hey Lalna I came to check on you and I heard shouting and- Lal?" He noticed Lalnable/Lalna sobbing on the floor and me on the bed. "Lal? Whats wrong, why is Rythian here? Lal?"

"H-He c-called m-me a m-monster. H-he says I k-killed Z-Zoey and th-thinks I should d-die!" Lalna chocked out, face completely covered in tears. Xephos went deathly quiet.

"Rythian? Can I chat with you for a second?" He said icily. I nodded and he helped me into the hallway and closed the door behind him.

"HOW COULD YOU??!! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT TO LALNA??!! DO YOU KNOW HOW UNSTABLE HE IS RIGHT NOW!!! HES STILL GETTING OVER HIS DEPRESSION FROM WHEN KIM DIED!!!!" Xephos was fuming. He was raging so much I couldn't get a word in "HE HASENT BEEN THE SAME SINCE THAT EXPLOSION!! HE HASENT LEFT THIS CASTLE FOR MONTHS!!! HE WOULDN'T HURT A FLY!!!! I THOUGHT HE WAS FINALLY GETTING OVER IT AND THEN YOU COME BARGING IN AND RUIN EVERYTHING!! HOW BLOODY DARE YOU, YOU BASTARD!!!" 

Then we heard the sobbing from the next room stop. Xephos paused in his ranting and opened the door. He yelled "LALNA NO!!" then pushed me out of the way running toward the bathroom on the other side of the room. From my position on the floor I could see Lalna holding something above his arm, tears silently rolling down his face. Xephos grabbed the thing and flung it out the window. He then sat down in the bathroom next to Lalna and hugged him. I then saw what Lalna had been doing and gasped. On his arm he had carved out the word 'Monster' and it was oozing blood all down his arm. Then I saw what was on the counter of the bathroom and it made me feel even more terrible. It was a small tub of cream marked 'Burn Relief' and a roll of bandages. The same color as the ones on my body. I just broke the person that healed me... He had brought me into his home, healed me, given me his bed and I had called him a monster. I'm  the monster here. I felt terrible.

Xephos got up and went to go find something to stop the bleeding. He glared at me as I pulled myself over to where Lalna was as if to say "Don't you fucking dare" I nodded.

Lalna was sitting against the bathroom wall holding his knees into his chest. He was still sniffling. "Look, I'm really sorry about what I said. Your obviously not the person I thought you were and I hope you will accept my apology even though I understand if you don't. I'l leave now." I said dragging myself toward the exit. I don't know how I'l survive when I can barely walk, but I'l manage somehow. 

"No" I looked back at him. He was staring at me. My heart sank.

"No, as in No, you don't accept my apology?"

"No, I do accept your apology but No, your not leaving." What?

"What? But I was terrible to you!" I said.

"You can barely walk! Im not letting you leave this castle til your fully healed." He said stubbornly standing up and wiping the tears out of his eyes. "Come on your getting back into the bed. I will make another one later." This cannot be happening.

"I cannot possibly let you take care of me after how horrible I was."

"You can make it up to me somehow."

"But-" "No, get in the bed" "Fine"

Then Xephos came back in "Hey Lal I got some rags for your arm- Am I intruding on something?" He said when he saw me in the bed and Lalna standing over me, pushing me onto the bed. We both went pink and he took a step back. "No, not at all, thanks a ton Xeph." He said as he started dabbing at his arm with the rags. "Im fine now, really."

"Ok then, you know how to contact me! Me and Hannah are going to be at Owl Island." He gave me a look that plainly said 'Don't you dare do that again' and walked out. 

I laid down and the exhaustion hit me almost immediately. I fell asleep thinking of Zoey
