Gabby glanced down at her phone one more time just to be sure she made it to the right class. 456. She looked back up to read the room number and noticed that she finally had the right room after struggling for 20 minutes.
She walked in her Genetics class to be met with 50 other kids at least already in a seat. She took a quick look towards the front board and noticed her Professor hadn't arrived yet. She visibly relaxed seeing she wasn't late like she thought she would be.
She looked back towards the rows of chairs and took a seat near the very front. After she took a seat she pulled out her iPad and her apple pen so she could jot down any notes. Even though she knew there wouldn't be much because they would only be going over the syllabus and anything else that needed to be addressed.
A few minutes later a young looking woman walked in.
"Good morning, sorry for my tardiness. My child had a hard time getting out of bed this morning." she smiled sheepishly.
"Anyways my name is Ms. Kayle and from now on forward I will be your genetics teacher. I also think it's a little useless to do any icebreakers since there is going to be little to none social interaction that will go on in this class. I will be asking questions here and there but not too often" she said warmly as she pulled up a powerpoint presentation on her laptop.
Gabby silently thanked her for that because that was the last thing she wanted to do. Especially this early in the morning.
"In this class we'll be going over a few things cell growth, reproduction, and how mutation leads to cancer and how to stop the process." she said as she pressed the remote to go to the next slide.

3 hours later the class was over. How the lady was able to talk for that long was a complete mystery to Gabby.
She wasn't that bad though so, Jaiella was correct about her. At the end of the class her professor ended up assigning them a small project. She wanted them to make a 4 generation family tree diagram. Which wasn't too bad.
It was approaching noon so it was time for her to get lunch before her other class that was at 3pm.
She decided to head towards the garden near the main building since she heard a few food stands were being set up there. She wanted to see if they had anything good.
