All I Ask

1 - LAST NIGHT WITH YOU

*RIAN'S POV*

In The Living Room

"Rian are you okay?" she said with a worried tone and expression.

"Yes I'm fine Sam, why did you ask?" I ask her.

"Your expression doesn't seems usual." she said.

"How so?" I said while confused.

"Well your usual expression when your with me is happy and excited. Do you have problem?" she said while holding my face.

"I'm sorry Sam." I felt tears build up on my eyes as I said that.

"Why are you saying sorry to me?" she said while being confused.

"I'm really sorry." tears started to fall from my eyes and I hug her.

"Why? What did you do?" she hug me back and pat my back to comfort me.

"I can't stay with you any longer." I said and she break the hug.

"W-what? Why? What did I do wrong?"

I stay silent because of her questions. I can see her eyes, teary eyes.

"Rian answer me!! What did I do? Did I do something that made you say that??" she said while tears started to fall from her eyes.

"Im sorry Sam I love you but as a friend, I stayed by your side because I thought I would learn to love you the way you want me to love you someday, but I don't think that day will come." I felt guilty for what I said but I know that I have to say that to her because I don't want her to expect me to give that kind of love that I can't give her because I only love her as a friend.

"Is there something I can do for you to stay? I'll do anything just for you to stay." she said kneeling while holding my hand and sobbing.

"Samantha stop it! Stand up right know! There's nothing you can do for me to stay, I've think about this many times, I don't want to be with you, I- I don't love you the way you want me. I only love you as a friend." I said while looking into her eyes, those eyes filled with sadness.

"If you're just going to leave me why did you even stay by my side for the past 3 months?! Why did you make me feel that you love me?! Why!!? Answer me Rian?!" she look at me in the eyes and I saw her eyes filled with anger and sadness, I felt like....,like.... I don't know I can't explain I feel guilty, sad, happy and relieve at the same time. I feel like I'm such ajerk for hurting her but I have to do this.

"It's because......" I don't know if I should say it, I'm sure it will hurt her a lot.

"Because what Rian!?!? F*ck*ng finish your word!" she pushed me after saying it because of her anger. Suddenly I lose control of myself because she cursed at me and the word that I'm sure that will hurt her suddenly slip out of my mouth.

"Because I pity you!" I look at her eyes as I said it and I saw her eyes blink many times after I said it, she look like she about to cry again. A few seconds later tears started to fall from her eyes.

"Wh-what? Because you pity me? It's all just because of pity?"

"I'm sorry Sam."

"Don't you feel anything special for me Rian?"

I shake my head to answer her question.

"Not even a little?"

"Yes."
