Katsuki stares at the rest of the photos, and truly can't remember any other time he was ever as happy as he was with Kariage. Most of the photos are selfies Kariage took when he wasn't paying attention.
This photo was taken right before Halloween, Kariage was trying on his Carrot Costume. Yes, a carrot. Katsuki told him to dress up as something scary and he chose a vegetable. Kariage stares at the camera in horror, hand up to his chest as his eyes are comically wide. Katsuki's chopping vegetables in the background, specifically carrots.
The next photo is them in the pool. Katsuki's the one holding the camera this time, he has a peace sign and an innocent smile on while Kariage is drowning in the background. He remembers how the idiot was trying on a mermaid tail and ended up not being able to take it off, he couldn't swim so right after taking the photo Katsuki hopped in and saved him. They laughed their asses off by the side of the water, Kariage declaring Katsuki as his god before kneeling in front of him.
He swipes to the next photo and it's actually a video. He plays it, it's Kariage recording him sneakily while Katsuki pets a stray cat. It's a calico cat that seems very friendly and preens under Katsuki's hand. And then a kitten comes out from nowhere and meows at him for attention. Then another. Then another. Then another. Katsuki ends up with his lap full of one grown cat, and six kittens. The video ends as Kariage coos, not at the kittens but at him. He blushes out of embarrassment and throws his shoe at him.
The next photo is of him walking with a cardboard box, full of the cat and the kittens. He remembers taking them home and then finding them forever homes. Kariage took in the calico and one of her babies.
The next photo is not a selfie, but it was probably sent to him by a third person (most likely Dehisa). Katsuki is seated in Kariage's lap while, leaning and curling into Kariage's chest while Kariage himself has his arms wrapped around Katsuki's waist. He doesn't remember doing any of this, but he does know that he had accidentally ate a fuck ton of chocolates with alchohol inside of them and was drunk as fuck in this photo.
The next swipe is a video of the event. Katsuki basically throws himself onto Kariage and settles in his lap. That's when he starts curling into him and when Kariage settled him down with hands supporting his waist. Dehisa is laughing manically behind the camera, Kariage hisses at him to "come help me you dickhead!" before the video ends.
He swipes again and it's another video, probably taken by Dehisa again because Kariage and Katsuki are in the same position. The only difference is that Katsuki's asleep, he's covered by a blanket and clings to Kariage. Kariage simple rubs his back and pets his hair gently. It's only a few seconds long, then Dehisa mutters under his breath something along the lines of calling them a couple then the video ends.
Katsuki blushes, he knows that Dehisa probably didn't mean that. It was just a joke or careless comment. But something inside of him churns. He looks at photos and videos, his smile and Kariage's. He can't help but feel guilty as fuck. Can't help the fact that he misses Kariage. Nothings been the same ever since Kariage's confession. It's like a huge part of his life just flipped upside down and then disappeared, leaving a hole in his heart.
He goes over to the messages app, hovers above Kariage's contact. He had blocked him months ago, and now he's unblocking him. Instantly messages from the past blow up his screen. Kariage had sent so many texts after their fight but Katsuki didn't want to hear it. He wants to see it now, want to know what Kariage was desperately trying to communicate to him.
