Five years ago, Ciize Peranza had a whirlwind wedding with Milk Anderson, even though they had only known each other for two months. Just weeks after the wedding, Milk left. At that time, they were planning to have a baby through a sperm donor, using Milk's egg. Even after Milk left, Ciize was still hoping Milk would come back, so she decided to go through with the procedure alone and was soon found pregnant.
After more months of waiting, Milk was nowhere to be found. Feeling abandoned, Ciize decided to place their daughter up for adoption and tried to forget the past-until Milk came back into her life. Milk never received Ciize's texts, emails, or letters and didn't know they had a child until after their daughter, Ciya, was adopted. Milk found Ciya and raised her alone. Now, Milk is about to remarry, but her divorce from Ciize never went through. Milk needs Ciize's help to finalize the divorce quickly. When Milk shows up at Ciize's doorstep, they both realize the feelings between them are still strong. Can Milk let Ciize go again, especially when the truth about what happened five years ago is finally revealed?
