"Eternity is so, so lonely, Spring.."

...

Hospital Ward 42: Residency until mortality fault.

Spring opened up his eyes and sat up. He noticed that he wasn't in his room... Instead, he appeared to be in some kind of waiting-room. The brightness of the lights above him strained his eyes as he stood up. Nobody else was in the room other than himself, and a nurse that was sitting at the reception-desk. He looked at the back of the room and noticed a door labeled as 'exit.' Spring approached the door and attempted to open it, but for some odd reason... It wouldn't budge. His anxiety began to brew within him. Although, Spring decided to approach the nurse. He slowly walked up to her as she looked through some documents. She looked up and stared at him, before she spoke...

...

Ivory: "It's silent today, isn't it? You're free to visit a patient. Although, the visiting hours will only last for a little longer.. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy your visit."

...

Spring didn't say anything to Ivory. He continued to stand there with a blank expression. After a few moments of awkward silence, Ivory spoke again.

Ivory: "..This is a living place, you know? These patients aren't.. average, to say the least. They're manifestations of feelings, actions, memories, and the past. Yet, they live. Strange, isn't it?"

...

Once again, Spring did not say anything back to her. She began to grow a bit impatient with him, and decided to speak one last time before regaining focus on her work.

Ivory: "Enjoy the rest of your visit. ..If you can call it that."

Ivory then looked back down at her documents and papers. Spring noticed a door to his right and proceeded to walk towards it. He opened up the double set of doors and walked through. Spring was now standing in a hallway. Within the hallway was four doors on the left and right side. Along with another double set of doors at the other end. An ominous white glow was shining through it. He went to the other end and attempted to open the doors. They were locked...

He then went back to the entrance of the hallway and stared at each door. They all had a label above them. On the left side, it is Lost, Prey, Heights, and Summer. On the right side, it is Disappoint, Abandon, Grieve, and Void. Each labeled door was locked, except for the one labeled as Lost. This made Spring realize something. It isn't over yet. He knew that Summer was still trying to stay connected with him. He did everything that Malice told him to do, and yet it still didn't work entirely.

It didn't matter though. Despite her still being around, Spring proceeded to enter through the door... Lost... It is time to finish this, 'story.'

...

Lost: Her parents had left her for the night. Hours had passed, and she waited longer, and longer. Once midnight struck, it occurred to her; they may not return. Days passed, soon weeks. Eventually, the power was severed. The house grew colder, unbearably so. She stepped outside. The door closed behind her.

Disappoint: His gifts were never enough. The tension grew. He had to sacrifice so much, but it never mattered. They'll laugh and leave him behind, ungrateful. It repeats. The tension increased further. It repeats. It repeats. It repeats. The failure to please crushed him, and overwhelmed him. It repeats. It repeats.

Prey: He's never had a place to belong. For five Winters, he struggled to comprehend his purpose. When offered an occupation for the first time, he accepted it without hesitation. Unaware of his actions, it soon became clear what his work would be. Each finished assignment haunted him. Each time it happened, he rotted. ..The whispers grew louder.

Abandon: Her dreams stopped after he left. Each night grew worse. The loneliness was suffocating. The spiral pushed the others away. Another one gone. The next day, the rumors began. Again, more left. The walls laughed. There's no where to hide from those thoughts. Trapped in her room, she is unable to escape this torment.

Heights: The first fall was the most painful. He can't forget the gash it left, the snap of the impact, the horror it made him feel. Even in dreams, it replays; The hiss of the wind, the growing anxiety. The speed of his heart beat, all of it intensifying at once. Once he landed, he woke up. He looked over at the clock. It had been reset.

Grieve: The aftermath ruined her. All at once, everything she cared for disappeared. The poems she once wrote to live for became increasingly desolate. The subject was not the same; Nature became faces, to her loss. Everything reminded her of what she lost, drowning every other thought. ..The birds in the garden didn't sound like birds anymore.

Summer: ...

Void: Endless. Shapeless. Her will decays.
