The Bet

Chapter 1: It's time to Wake Up!

Emery's POV:

   I woke up annoyed after listening to a stupid beeping sound for the past twenty minutes. I grab my phone and notice it was my alarm. I looked at the time and realized it was 11:34 am. I was extremely late for my plans today. I quickly got up and ran to the shower. After taking a quick ten minute shower I had put on my outfit that I had laid out the night before. My outfit consisted of a dark green long sleeve crop top that had some holes in it and some simple black shorts. I wore a pair of black and white Creepers to finish off the look. After applying minimal make up and putting on all my jewelry I was ready to go. I quickly loaded my truck with my bags and I hit the road.

   I was on my way to LA to go to Vidcon and hopefully meet my favorite YouTubers, the Cube Smp. I lived in San Diego so the drive up to LA wasn't too bad, but I was stuck in Traffic for about thirty minutes.

   I finally arrived in LA and I checked into my hotel. Vidcon wasn't until tomorrow, but I wanted to spend some time in LA. I looked at my phone and it was 4:36 pm. I decided that I would rest for about thirty minutes and then go find some place to eat.

   After my short thirty minute nap, I was starving. I pulled up Yelp on my phone and looked for a simple Thai place to eat. Lately I had been craving Thai food, I really didn't know why. After searching for about five minutes, I found a place called "The Taste of Thai". It was cheap and had great reviews.

   It was at least twenty minutes before I was finally able to make it to the place. It was quiet, thank God. I had sat down and ordered chicken Pad Thai with a spice level of four. It's hard finding the right spice level at any restaurant. Some places, level five is mild, other places its extreme. It took about ten minutes before my food showed up. Level four spice was perfect, it was just spicy enough to add flavor, but not too spicy where I would burn my tongue off.

   After finishing my dinner, I decided to shop around a little. I had my outfit already planned out for when I was meeting the Cube, but I wanted to see if I could find extra things to add to it. Two hours later I had spent one-hundred dollars on clothes, jewelry, and make up.

   I headed back to my hotel room and called it quits for the night. It was only around 8:45 pm, but I was tired and had to get up early tomorrow. I took a quick shower and changed into my pajamas. After getting all comfortable in bed, I grabbed my phone and checked twitter one last time for the night. Peckett, one of the Cube's friends, posted a picture of the group hanging out. I smiled thinking how I will be meeting them all tomorrow!
