(AUTHOR'S POV)

"Is he... dating someone....? "

"Why are you asking that? "

"Just answer me...."

"No "

Aashika's world stopped for a second, she couldn't believe all this was true,she has never been in a relationship , never had a crush and never wanted to have one,everything was so  new to her. She saw in movies and read in novels that mostly first love don't last. She was always confused that why characters in movie get so happy, when they fall in love, when they make efforts, when they get to know that their crush is single hehe.
She felt as if she is in one of those movies, and the hero was Yashasvi Jaiswal. 🤭

She again got lost in thoughts, her lips curved into a smile while staring the sofa, she was this happy that if she saw yash again she would probably kiss him... Arey jyada hogya ye to, author is obsessed with them you know 🥲🤭

Here our cutie pie Dhruv Jurel, such a cutie patootie he is 😭, He was feeling lonely you guys, aashika was lost in her world and he here was getting bored, he was observing her since she came, she was very interested in knowing about yash, specially about his dating life.

'Dal m kuch kaala h , nhi puri daal kaali h 🧐' dhruv thinks

(It is an idiom in hindi that means - there is something unusual)

"Yo aashika! Why are you blushing again stop! Talk to me na, I am getting bored "  dhruv cried dramatically

"Huh..? what I am not blushing "

"Hmm hmm.. crimson red cheeks! dating or not? do you think I don't understand 🤧🌚" he teases her, she remains quiet trying not to smile.

Here our yashasvi was coming downstairs but he overheard everything from the first floor, let's see what he thinks .

(YASHASVI'S POV)

Why I am so much in hurry to go down stairs, nothing important conversation was going on. Why I was feeling so good sitting beside her? Polar bear...cute..., huh? what am I speaking! Shut up yashasvi! I said to myself and slapped myself gently . But the way she looks, omg..., her adorned in all black, the way black colour complements her, why does her cheek turned crimson red. But it looked good on her milky white skin hehe , I heard something, what did dhruv say to her, blush? there is no window near the sofa, and dating or not? is she asking about Dhruv if he is dating or not, why is she asking all this? THIS DHRUV, he is my brother or enemy. Does she like him ? Why do I care? It's her life...

(DHRUV'S POV)

I sense something odd about Aashika, maybe she likes yashasvi, but I can't just trust all this, maybe she randomly asked me that question, general knowledge u know , wait what's about general knowledge in it 😐, WhY Am I So StUpId! 🙂Moye Moye

Let's play a prank, they both are busy talking with each other na, they are ignoring me! 😊🔪, Lemme show them who am I!

But what should I do,umm I will say that my favorite wicket keeping gloves got stolen, yash would buy me a new one or accuse me of lying 🙂, moye moye once again. Umm i will fall from the stairs, nice idea but if I really break my legs no no, risky idea, umm wait lemme search something in my special drawer, it has all the wierd stuffs, I would definitely find something good.

YESS! GOT IT! Shh... I should not shout they would find out.

"What happened dhruv, all good? " yash shouted

"YES YES "

I found this funny fake Lizard toy looks so real, but yash is not scared of lizards, tch.. 😐but aashika is heheheh 💀😎.

I went downstairs and sat on the couch I acted normal, tried to hide my devilish smile.

"Kaha chala gaya tha tu? ". he asked

(Where did you go?)

" Um.. umm  my room "

"Why? " he asked

"Arey, Tu biwi h meri jo sab batau tujhe "

(You are my wife or what, why should I tell you everything )

"Ab tujhe mil nhi rahi to hmari kya galti " they both chuckled

(It's not our mistake if you can't find one)

We all continued to talk .

"Lizards are everywhere nowadays "

"What do you mean ? " aashika asked

"I saw 2 in my room" I uttered and she gulped in fear.

"Ya in summer season, lizards are found everywhere, they come out of their home" yash said

"I hate lizards "

"ohh"

After 2mins , I threw the lizard  on her   and said

"aashika lizard!! "

She jumped in fear and hugged Yashasvi.

"LIZARDDD!! !! " she shouted loudly.

"My ears omg " I uttered as I could have turned deaf, she shouted so loudly..

"Hahaha! It was a prank I said picking the fake lizard and putting it on her head, yashasvi swept it from her hairs and threw it back at me and gave me a  death stare  . "

(YASHASVI'S POV)

She suddenly jumped and hugged me tightly . She fisted onto my shirt her nails were hurting me, ouchh.. 🤧. But I still remained as I was, I don't know I didn't wanted to leave  her. My hand was on her back, I held her tightly, caressed her back.

"Are you ok aashi..? I mean aashika "

She got out of the hold.

"Yeah... I'm fine "

This Dhruv has to play stupid pranks.

"Dhruv! You know na I hate lizards why did you do so? "

"DHRUV THIS IS NOT GOOD! FROM THE NEXT TIME TRY TO DO SO AND THEN SEE WHAT I DO! " I yelled at him

"calm down yash, he is you best friend " she whispered

"I DON'T WANNA TALK TO YOU BOTH, I AM SITTING HERE, BUT YOU BOTH ARE BUSY TALKING TO EACH OTHER, I FEEL LIKE I AM THIRD WHEELING , AASHIKA IS BUSY BLUSHING ASKING ABOUT YOU, YOU DATING LIFE! YOU ARE BUSY ADMIRING HER. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TWO ! " Dhruv shouted and walked away in anger

"Dhruv.. " I said but it was too late, she looked at me in disbelief, I was getting lost in her eyes when I realized that I have to go to Dhruv.
