-20 minutes later-

N and V have made it to the pod, expecting to find J usually "compiling a report" together; but lucky for them, she's still on the hunt.

V: Looks like time is on our side...

She said in a detective manner.

N: What do you mean by that?

He questioned while holding the baby as if he were the father of it.

V: She would kill it at sight

-N runs OH_NO.exe-

N: S- So, what do we do with our baby!?

V raises her voice to correct N for what he said.

V: THAT is not our baby! You only brought it along because-

Unnamed Infant: Waaaaaaaaa

N: V! You've spooked the poor thing!

V looked at it, confused because she didn't expect to scare it that easily. She continued watching N do his best to calm it down, but it seems to be taking a while.

N: Hush Hush Hush!

He frantically exclaimed.

V starts feeling bad for the poor thing, which makes her now consider the choice to assist N in helping it calm down.

V: N, hand it over

N: Are you sure? Even after what you've done?

V: I'm damn fine sure! Now hand the untrained neural network over!

Without responding, N quickly hands over the infant to V, which she immediately takes hold of. She held it for several seconds as she watched it cry without doing anything to cheer it up.

N: C'mon V, it's still crying!

The psycho immediately went to work to quiet the baby, starting with an apology.

V: Alright I'm sorry! Now settle down!

The infant continued whining as usual.

V: ...

She then attempted to shake it slowly with her arms, which finally started working.

V: Ahhh... much better...

She said in a relieving manner.

N: Woah... it's working

The baby has now entered a calm state, getting a good view of V's murderous face. It reacted with two happy eyes, finally accepting her even after she scared it earlier.

V: Oh my...

She whispered as she was starting to feel friendly.

N: V, you're smiling!

V: Shut up

She returned her attention to the infant at her hands. As she became more friendly with it, she decided to have a little bit of fun with it. She frees one of her arms and reveals a baby rattle with a murder drone skull on it.

V: You like me now huh?

She playfully snickered.

The baby responds with an excited expression as the rattle that V has is shaking.
