The little man's light brown eyes look up and down at an image on his laptop screen. His thin hand holds a stylus with which he drew that image.
The image Salin intends to draw is the snake necklace he saw in his dream.
Sinarin Thewi's necklace created to be given to... Phaya Suriyen, during the engagement ceremony between the two Naga families. That necklace is like a snake-shaped rope that must adorn a beautiful neck.
"It's so beautiful, dear," Suriyen's deep voice rings out, before a portly body dressed in shiny satin pajamas comes to sit on the leather sofa behind the small boy.
Today, both he and Salin are tired due to the various meetings they had to attend to prepare for the competition all day. When they are already in the apartment building, the young President receives an urgent call. The caller is an important person, so his dinner has to be interrupted, which causes the little guy to sit at the table alone. Then he hurries to take a shower and continue working in the living room.
He needs to act quickly to be able to send the drawings to the production department before next Friday. That is, in the next two days.
"Thank you," the little person sitting on the floor turns and gives him a sweet smile of thanks. But the President, opportunistic as always, did not miss the opportunity and kisses his soft lips.
"This necklace is the one you will submit to the contest, right?" Suriyen asks, as she admires the beautiful drawing.
"Yes" nods the little man. "This is the necklace I will send."
Salin plans to submit that design to the competition she has to participate in, after which that necklace would be given to Phaya Suriyen according to Sinarin Thewi's wishes.
But he doesn't know how to give that precious necklace to Sinarin, so that he can give it to his beloved man to help him free himself from the trap of his karma.
"Phi Sun, when the contest is over. Lin wants to buy the necklace, can I do it?" Salin asks.
With the limited time at his disposal, Salin chooses to design that necklace he has in mind to enter the design competition, because now the only image he keeps in his head is Sinarin Thewi's necklace in the realm of his dreams.
"Why do you want to buy it?"
"This is..."
"Do you have something worrying you? You can tell me everything, my good boy." Suriyen lifts his hand and places it on the boy's soft hair, stroking it delicately.
"Phi Sun, can I explain? I have something to tell you." Salin says as he turns to face his lover face to face.
"Yes, yes." Suriyen smiles and nods.
"It may seem a little strange, but when I lost consciousness for several days... I dreamed that I traveled back in time and met a young Naga named Sinarin Thewi. He had suffered enough and took me to see the events concerning him; he asked me to help free him from his imprisonment by giving the necklace he had made to the man he loved. So, I should help create a new necklace to give to him, but now I still don't know where that person is," Salin says in a weak voice. "And if I agree to help him because of his past, well, that directly affects me."
Since that necklace had disappeared, Salin offered to help create it again.
After leaving the hospital, Salin returned and continued to recover at home; coincidentally, his mother and sister had just returned from abroad.
Therefore, Salin took the opportunity to ask his mother about his past: it was possible that his father and mother had seen that person a couple of times more than ten years ago. His mother’s words made the little boy believe with all his heart that the person he had dreamed of really existed.
