A vehicle is parked behind the Seoul Jewelry Company building, jewelry with decorations designed in the shape of an eight-pointed sun, similar to the company's emblem, passes through the large door and is carefully lifted into the car.
"Wait, let’s bring the display and decorations to the event first. As for you, you can follow Khun Kaewmanee. That's all," the company's artistic head tells the three apprentices to bring the items to the event location.
Today is the first day of preparations for the International Jewelery Festival, which would be held the day after tomorrow. All this has made the three interns so excited that they can't even sleep well, so they start preparing everything early in the morning, when the sun has not yet risen over the horizon.
"Thank you so much, Khun, for helping us. If it wasn't for you guiding us and giving great advice, we wouldn't have been able to." Yotha raises his hands to show respect for her.
"It is only the duty of the elders. Now I have to thank the whole team for believing in the project, you have created things that have never been done before, such as the glass solar cabin."
"Nong, hurry up and go to the President."
Shortly after the secretary arrives at the office, the President orders her to follow the project team to meet with them immediately. But at that moment, all three are busy reviewing the workforce, so no one answers her calls. Of course, the person who answers that call is the head of the art department, who goes to the three students and complains until his ears go numb.
"Let's go." Salin says.
The two friends followed him to head towards the large building in front and walk together with their dear friend.
"Why did they say the President called us to meet?" Pimnaphat asks, holding her shoulder bag close to his body.
"To wish us good luck," smiles Yotha, laughing and gesturing towards his little friend who seems so nervous that he isn't himself.
"I hope so. Will he call us to scold us, to see what we are doing with the results?"
Usually, the President calls them to meet in the executive office when in most cases there is something to discuss or improve, but now he is calling them to meet in the professional team conference room.
The elevator door on the top floor swings open as they reach their final destination. Once there, the three friends nervously walk the crimson red carpet before stopping in front of the secretary's desk with a less than happy face.
When the secretary sees that the three interns have arrived, she gets up, walks over and knocks on the solid wooden door several times, before a deep voice answers from inside.
"Did your husband eat something bad today? Salin, even if you can still hear the sound from outside, it is disturbing to listen to." Pimnaphat straightens and whispers to her best friend.
"No, he didn't eat anything bad," smiles Salin. "I don't want to say it, but this morning he only drank one can before leaving the apartment."
Pimnaphat hears this and his mouth opens wide, he never thought that his good friend would dare to say obscene things in public.
"Good morning, President." Pimnaphat is the first to raise his hands to pay homage to the President.
"Sit down." A hand points to a long leather sofa to the three friends, who sit down easily, but instead of being reassured they feel uncomfortable because the President's face is too stiff.
"Have you already had breakfast?" Suriyen asks as she sits in the chair and picks up her phone to open the screen.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes," the three reply awkwardly, with their hands clasped in their laps; not even Salin is sure what to do.
