Hello to anyone who found the title interesting. Let me start by saying that this is not a rewrite because I loved the film as a child and I love it now too. It's an idea that made its way into my mind a long time ago, but given my poor writing skills, I decided to speak directly to those more knowledgeable than me in hopes of inspiring you.

I'm not going to do a full plot summary, but as many should already know, G-Force is a 2009 action-adventure comedy produced by Jerry Bruckheimer for Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Hoyt Yeatman. Briefly, it centers on a team of highly trained secret agents trying to foil a plot to destroy the world. Of course, the most bizarre and interesting aspect of the film is that the aforementioned spies are talking guinea pigs (due to the super technology developed by their leader Ben).

For this idea of mine there is no need to change the plot too much, except perhaps add a few small hints of what will be revealed later.

The important part comes when the team manages to reunite after having to separate. Anyone who has seen the film knows why, and after the team's leader, Darwin, reveals the apparent death of their science officer Speckles, the mole, everyone is shocked, Far more than anyone, and this pushes him to confess to having deceived the team that they were genetically engineered and created to become super spies. This news, at first, demoralizes the team, but thanks to the moral support of the newcomer Hurley, they understand that, regardless of the fact that they are rodents, all their skills and their training make them perfectly capable of saving the world.

My idea starts precisely from changing this revelation: what if instead Ben confessed that the four of them are not simply genetically modified, but are all former soldiers and special agents of the US Army who died in action? Ben, through a unique technology, was able to transfer their brain functions and therefore their consciences into an animal brain quite compatible with the human one, i.e. guinea pigs. You can understand that for such a change there are many factors to evaluate.

For starters, you'd have to come up with a pseudo-scientific explanation for how Ben's revolutionary technology works. As long as we're talking about animal training and classic spy gadgets tailor-made for them, the suspension of disbelief can still work, but when it comes to "brain transfer" the line is rather thin.Obviously the need also arises to invent a new identity for each member of G-Force. I'm torn between having them all be on the same team or having Ben select them separately like in the original. I leave the choice up to you.

The internal conflict of the furry protagonists becomes much stronger because the realization resurrects fragments of their human lives more vividly than they were before. However, none of them can piece together all the memories, as if the memory was destroyed. Certainly everyone had a family, friends, people they loved, and these are still alive but convinced that the protagonists are dead. Blaster may even have a girlfriend out there who is completely unaware of her existence, which could create a major conflict with his crush on Juarez.

What I'm pretty sure of is that when Ben tells them the truth and Darwin's turn comes, he reveals that the two of them have the same last name and that Darwin is his older brother. This may be one detail too many, but it would explain why Ben was so motivated in his search for him and further aggravates his guilt for keeping the secret. I thought that Darwin might have been a high-ranking officer who, during his last mission in foreign territory, due to his own misjudgment, caused the death of his entire previous team. This further fuels the feeling of uselessness he feels in the original: "Did I kill my team?!".

The motivational speech that Hurley gives to Darwin may be almost the same because at the end he lists all the knowledge and skills of which they are capable. Darwin, to the group, might add that with the new awareness of their previous lives they are ready to remedy the mistakes of the past and face the present.
