Basically, a little bit of a side note story and a proof of concept for the game driven story i have been thinking about, it might be base on tales of the eye but in a different setting and the world building in and on itself.

Story/Plot: A terrible accident has happened in a unnamed city, the train crash has caused many injuries and 100's dead, among them is the protagonist who was killed in the accident after rescue operators made an effort to lift the rubble up and trying to save the protagonist, after death, the protagonist soul is reincarnated into the another world, a fantasy world at that.
However... Our Protagonist Soul ends up in what is essentially called the great cycle. Which the cycle spins and turns. once the protagonist is next, he was given a chance at life.

The Protagonist name is either randomly generated or the player, the Canon name of the protagonist is "Vogel" (Vogel is a surname and it means bird in dutch or german). in the later acts of the story reveals Vogel Full name

once the name is chosen, the protagonist race is chosen (three race is given at the start, and four are locked)

Human: The Jack of all stats (Bonus race passive: Passive regeneration)

Beast: The Powerhouse (Bonus race passive: 5+ strength)

Orcs: The Burly and headstrong (Bonus race passive: 10+ HP)

Elf: the intelligent (bonus race passive, 5+ intelligence, unlock requirement is finding the legendary elf horn)

Reptiles: The Sneaky (bonus race passive, 5+ dexterity, unlock requirement is finishing the quest: The deftly serpents)

Behemoths: The Mythological (bonus race passive, 5+ strength and 15+ HP, unlock requirement is turning into a behemoth via blessing of the behemoth)

Godborn: The Ascendant (Bonus race passive, every stat is increased by 10+, unlock requirement is completing the game and starting new game plus)

Alchemy is a perk that is unlocked via merchant class, this allows players for full customization of their protagonist by transformation items. though upon starting new game plus, this perk is permanent.

Once the race is picked, now up for the starting classes, each of the classes have their own stats.

intelligence (scales with mana)

Defiance and Order (Which are corruption/purity stats, defiance gives the protagonist a impulse to fight while Order gives protagonist a goal to defend). and there's neutral which is the middleman of the corruption/purity stats
