Humanity has been struggling with multitude of problems regarding the well being of the humans, as there are numerous cases of diseases becoming stronger and vaccines and medicines aren't helping it, to counteract it, humanities have uploaded their consciousness to the device like machine know as the "ARK Capsules" and body in the tube like device know as the "ARK tubes", these devices held the consciousness of humanity to the core. 

until a man named "Sherwick Frieger" decide to tap into the human unconsciousness, thus leading to the awakening know as "Brands".. Few years passed and somehow things has gotten worse as Sherwick research led to war and destruction, thus a Great Will manifested in a form of a darkened sun and a shining moon, those affected by this newfound disease is know as "The Relinquishing" which turns people into husks of their former selves..

Many years have passed.

After the Appearance of the darkened sun and shining moon, there are ten factions appearing in the untapped lands of the islands of Castaon *which resembles a mix of philippines and japan* after leaving their ark capsules, with the brands placed on their bodies.. but five factions are eliminated as a result of their premature awakening). but all of them bear the sins and faith/virtue of man itself.

Brands: Also know as the Curses of Man, these brands are marked by the five factions, each has to bear their own goals and duties

Avatars: Also know as Inner selves - By Yung, Demons - by Typhoon, Crazed Self - Yukina, these are hidden powers sealed away within the mind and body of the person.

Hungering: Avatars craves for flesh as much as they wanted too, they must eat lest they suffer terrible effects 

The Great Will: According to Luis, it is a higher being who is said to represents the crocodile. it is believed that the faith will deliver them to the Great Will.

Lua Faction: "Believe in the moonlight"
Leader: Shana (Her brand is moonlight and her Avatar is Luna)
Members: Somehow mooks and Shana right-hand man, Orphios
Sin: To Commit sacrifices

Leader: Everest (His brand is sunlight and his avatar is Sol)
Members: Mooks and Everest Mentor, Lokario

Four Seasons Faction: "Nature's balance" (Main protagonist faction)
Leader: Yung (Main Character, his Brand is Glaive and his Avatar is cernunnos)
Members: Malia (her brand is blossom and her avatar is Eostre), Typhoon (His brand is Tempest and his Avatar is Stribog), Ignis (his brand is Pyromancy and his avatar is Svarog), Luis Alonso (his brand is Reflecting Arch and his Avatar is Varpulis)
Note Each of the four members of Four Seasons represents the Seasons, Malia is Spring, Typhoon is Winter, Luis is Fall, and Ignis is Summer with Yung as the main leader of the Four
