(Isabella's POV)
I couldn't sleep, the night came and left without a wink of sleep. Zach's face became etched to my brain, the look of hurt on his face drilled a hole in my heart.
The ring of the doorbell pulled me away from my self pity, "I'm coming" I yelled the sound echoing of the walls, the doorbell continued to ring as I made my way to the front door. I opened the door not bothering to check the peep hole, Ivy stood on the other side of the doorway "Hey girl, I've been calling you all morning where have you been?" she questioned ducking under my arm and making her way inside the house.
"Asleep" the lie came easy as I closed the door behind her, "Why have you been calling me?" I asked taking a seat on the couch beside her, she looked at me in disbelief "Are you kidding me? Zach came home last night looking gutted, and I saw you two talking on your front porch last night" I groaned internally I really don't want to talk about this right now especially not with his sister.
"Don't give me that look Izzy. I know you don't want to talk about this and I'm not going to make you, but just because you and my brother aren't on speaking terms doesn't mean we can't be friends. Right?"
A smile graced my face at her words, I nodded "Of course Ivy, we can always be friends" she squealed clapping her hands together "That's great because I want to hit the pool at my house, Ezra and Jeremiah are there trying to cheer up Zach, so grab your bikini and let's go" she spoke grabbing my hand in an attempt to pull me up.
My eyes widened "Ivy, I can't be in the same room with him right now" I groaned pushing myself further into the couch. "Oh come on, you just agreed that we're the best of friends. From now on he's just my brother nothing more" I sighed I really need to learn how to say no and stick with it, but I can't deny the fact that after last night I've been dying to see him although I'll never admit that to him or anyone.
I moved from the couch heading to my room, Ivy hot on my tail, I made my way to the closet grabbing one of my bikinis before heading to the adjoined bathroom. I stepped out of the bathroom in a red bikini set, "Izzy it looks perfect" I smiled looking down at my attire, the red bikini looks great against my tanned skin.
Zach is going to love me in this, I halted shocked at my own thoughts, I cannot keep thinking like this, Zach's bad news his affiliation with the motorcycle club should prove that and my past should be a clear warning for me to step away yet I still find myself reaching for a blue sundress, Zach's favourite colour.
(Zach's POV)
"Come on, man, wake up!" Jeremiah shouted in my ear, attempting to yank me off the bed.
"Fuck off, man," I groaned, burying my face deeper into the pillow.
"Just leave him be, Jer," I heard Ezra say. I lifted my head from the pillow just in time to see him taking off his shirt and slipping into his swim trunks.
"What are you doing?" I asked, turning to face them.
"Isabella is in the pool with Ivy, and I don't know about you, but I'm not staying in this room when there's a hot girl in a bikini downstairs," he replied, a smirk spreading across his face that annoyed me to no end.
"Bella's here?" I muttered to no one in particular as I hopped off the bed and rushed to the window that overlooked the backyard. Sure enough, there she was, lying on a sunbed in a red bikini that accentuated her curves. Just the sight of her made my cock throb in my shorts.
"Go down there" Jeremiah spoke from beside me "I can't she doesn't want me there" I slumped down on the bed ready to bury myself within the sheets. "Fine, if you're not willing to fight for her love I sure as hell will fight tooth and nail till I'm seated inside her sweet pussy of hers" Ezra smirked looking through the window towards her.
I rushed out of bed grabbing him by his neck in an instant "Go anywhere near her and you're dead, I'll kill you with my own damn hands best friend or not" he smirked at my reaction.
"Chill she's all yours man" with one last shove at his chest I hurriedly put on my swimming trunks before heading downstairs, with the guys right behind me. Determined, I made a beeline for Bella. "Hi, baby girl," I said, taking a seat beside her. She turned her head to look at me, her eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
"Hi, Zach," she replied, giving me a small smile. I opened my mouth to tell her how beautiful she looked, but before I could get the words out, Ivy called out to her, inviting her to swim.
Without another word to me, Bella got up from the sunbed and headed towards my sister. I groaned internally; I needed to find a way to fix this. "Tough break, man," Jeremiah said, coming to sit beside me.
I nodded, feeling frustrated. "I just don't know what to do, man. I need her to see that I'm not just about the motorcycle club."
Jeremiah was silent for a moment, then a sly smile spread across his face as he turned to me. "I have an idea. Come on."
Curiosity piqued, I followed Jeremiah as he led me away from the pool. "What's your plan?" I asked, eager to hear his idea.
"First, you need to show her a different side of you," Jeremiah began. "You're always talking about the club and the guys. Show her that there's more to you than that. Let's organize a surprise for her, something personal and romantic."
I considered his words and nodded. "Alright, what do you have in mind?"
Jeremiah's smile widened. "We're going to need some help from Ezra and the others, but trust me, it'll be worth it. Let's start planning."
As we gathered the rest of the group to share the plan, my mind was already racing with possibilities. This was my chance to prove to Bella that I could be the guy she needed, someone who cared about her beyond the club and the lifestyle. I just hoped she'd be willing to give me that chance.
(Isabella's POV)
I can't lie and say my heart doesn't flutter every time I see him or every time he talks to me, seeing him in his bathing suit sent my ovaries into an overdrive, his muscled arms are covered in tattoos starting from his knuckles going up to the base of his neck, his abs are left bare of any ink.
A splash of water took me out of my daydream, I coughed up the water "What the hell Ivy?" I spoke turning towards her, she raised her hands "That wasn't me" she said looking at me in confusion.
Another splash of water hit Ivy on the back of her head, I looked up to see where the water balloon fell from. Zach, Ezra and Jeremiah stood shirtless in his bedroom with multiple water balloons sitting in their hands.
"This means war" Ivy yelled pulling me towards the edge of the pool before another water balloon was thrown smashing onto the deck.
We laughed running to the side of the house where they aren't able to see us "What's our next move?" I whispered looking around the corner to see them moving away from the window.
Ivy smirked showing me a high pressure garden hose "You're a genius" I laughed, taking a look around the corner to see them advancing towards us "Get it ready, they're coming" I spoke hurriedly trying to quiet down my laugh. My heartbeat heavily against my chest as the adrenaline pumped its way around my body.
The boys jumped from around the corner causing us to scream, they laughed throwing a few balloons that ended up crashing against our feet, "Ivy now" I yelled, she grabbed the hose turning it to the highest speed before pointing it towards them.
My laughter boomed throughout the backyard and in that moment, I forgot who I was and why I left home.
