I learned along the way in writing, and creating this novel about myself, my relationships, and my place in the world. It was an illuminating experience, and I hope that in reading this novel, you all learn one or two things about yourselves as well. I have always held the things that taught me about myself dearly.

~~Description~~

From when she was young, Stella Roberts always dreamed of visiting New York. Still, when she and her family uprooted their lives in London to move to the city, she hadn't expected to be attacked by a sect of supernatural magic-users, called Demiwitches.

After tapping into her own magical abilities, Stella is exposed to a covert race of Demiwitches, descending from a lineage of three Immortal Witches, and among them was the orphaned Jesse Luna-Phoenix, born of the bloodline of two Immortal Witches, who she was inexplicably drawn to. Jesse and his adoptive family, the Luna-Jeffersons, allied themselves with Stella to protect her from those sworn to capture and serve her up to Orion, the last Immortal Witch, determined to revive his long-lost love.

    When Stella is forced to confront her tragic past, stolen from her memory, and the circumstances that made her who she is, she comes to understand her role in this strange magical world and the choices she must make to preserve the lives of those she loves, at a cost she's not sure she can beat.
