The premise of the story contains a lot of elements that make you wonder how they will all combine? But, since the very first chapter we see a good development of these ones. The cover even connects most of the elements mentioned in the blurb. The characters have interesting personalities, they're rounded and well-written. The creatures are not just fantasy creatures, they're monsters and they have come to kill and eat! Special menu: Humans. The writing style is very specific when detailing grotesque murders, but it just adds the morbid factor for horror books. About grammar, I barely noticed mistakes too, my only complaint is that chapters are perhaps, too short.
