[Wandee's POV]

YorYak, my boyfriend and I, I repeat, my 'boyfriend', we went down together to eat in the backyard behind the house of Phadet Suk Boxing Gym. Cherry eyed us suspiciously, and turned his nose up again.

"Why are you walking like that?" Oye asked the younger brother. I don't even know how we did it, but Yak was more injured. He walked while holding his belly after we showered, changed into new clothes, and because we were afraid of being kicked, we decided to dry each other's hair before going downstairs to eat.

The night air during winter is cool and pleasant. The air wafted through me with the smell of barbecue skewered on the grill, making me feel my digestive juices working. I started to get hungry.

"I probably exerted a lot of energy," Yak reasoned, sliding the chair to sit down. He takes medicine before eating. The big guy took care of himself and then looked at me as I walked over to the grilled. Oye turned, sent me the cooked food on the table before asking me.

"Do you still want another food? Or do you want your husband to feed you? If not, come eat."

"No need---?" I protested, but I couldn't help but blush.

"How about you, Yak?"

Yak shook his head that he didn't want porridge anymore. He took a snack from the table to eat. It was a bit difficult for him to eat because he had a cut on the side of his mouth. As for me, my mouth and jaw also hurt because of... I ate living flesh. Shut up Wandee! I couldn't believe what I was thinking.

"Why did Mr. Oye make so many barbecues?"

"I'm celebrating that my brother has a wife for real. By the way, just call me Oye, from now on."

I just nodded without saying anything. I think I need more time to get used to it.

"I don't see anything worth celebrating." Said Yak as he bowed. His ears turned bright red. I put the plate of barbecue in the middle of the table and sat next to Yak. At the same time, the loudspeaker came out of the house. Cherry opened the love songs to create an atmosphere. The awkward silence earlier is gone.

Yak put his hand on my shoulder to show his ownership. I let him do that then fed him some slices of meat.

I saw Oye's eyes looking at me with annoyance, but no one said anything to tease me directly. Oye grilled all the meat on skewers. The big man walked over holding a large plate of barbecue and placed it in the middle of the table.

He opens a beer, before suddenly stopped because Yak asks. "Brother... How many more fights have I been eliminated?"

I didn't understand Yak's question, but I just listened silently as the two brothers talked.

"Eat first before talking about stressful things."

"Tell me, brother, how many fights have I lost?"

"Two."

"Not that many." Yak nodded vaguely. Then he looked straight at Oye, bowing like a guilty man.

"Sorry bro. I let you down."

"Why are you apologizing to me? Forget it. It's over. If you still want to fight, try harder from now on."

"Yes I know."

"Eat now. Don't think too much. I don't think too much either." Yak took the barbecue from Oye's hand and put it on his own plate. I rested my chin on the big man's shoulder when I saw him go quiet in an uncharacteristic way.

"Is something wrong?"

"I was eliminated from two competitions because I lost to Yin Anan Wong."

"Ha!" I screamed in shock, lifting my chin from Yak's shoulder. Is my surprised face funny? I guess so, because the two brothers burst out laughing.
