The morning light filtered softly through the curtains, gently rousing me from sleep. I found myself nestled in Zac's arms, my head resting on his chest, and my arms wrapped around his waist as if afraid he might vanish during the night. I blinked, adjusting to the light, and heard Zac's voice, warm and soothing.
"Good morning, Nora," he said softly, his hand lightly stroking my back. "How are you feeling?"
I looked up at him, his blue eyes filled with concern. "I'm still a bit scared," I admitted, "but I know it's going to be okay thanks to you."
He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "I'm glad I could be here for you. Tonight's a big night, isn't it? The launch of your album."
"Yes, it is," I said, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Would you be my date for tonight?"
Zac's face lit up with a proud smile. "Of course, I'd be honored. But I'll have to leave early because I have a shoot tomorrow."
"That's okay," I replied, grateful for his support. "Thank you, Zac."
We got up and made our way to the kitchen for breakfast. The aroma of fresh coffee and toasted bread filled the air, creating a comforting atmosphere. As we sat down, my sisters walked in, their faces beaming with excitement.
"We're going shopping today," my sister Leila announced. "You need the perfect outfit for tonight, and we want to help."
Zac's expression turned slightly serious. "Just be careful out there, okay, Nora? After what happened, I worry."
I placed a reassuring hand on his arm. "I will. Thank you, Zac."
He gave me a reassuring smile. "Have fun. We'll have everything ready for when you get back."
With Joe as our chauffeur, my sisters and I headed to the best tailor in town. Cristina Cordula, the renowned fashion consultant, was there to assist us. She welcomed us with her signature flair, exuding an air of elegance and excitement.

After several fittings and much laughter, I found the perfect gown for the evening: an elegant floor-length dress that shimmered with every move. Cristina clapped her hands in delight. "Magnifique! You look like a star, Nora!"
"Thank you, Cristina," I said, beaming. "Do you happen to have a suit for Zac to match my gown? He'll be my date for tonight."
