Chapter 8

Chrissy

London's house was very junky so being the good friend that I am, I decided to clean up. I was almost done cleaning when my phone rang which read "Carlos " "Hey, Mr.Caling," I smiled.
"Hey beautiful."
"Whats up?"
"You packed and ready for our trip?"
"Trip where?" I said completely lost.
He laughed. "To California... the trap house."
Damn I had forgot all about that. I wasnt even packed yet. "Oh yea, Im ready," I lied," what time we leaving?"
"At 8."
I looked at the clock and read "6:30". Dammit! I need to hurry home now. "Ok," I spoke grabbing my keys and purse rushing out the door.
"Ill be at your house at 7:30, so be ready," he hung up.

I drove home as fast as I could speeding through traffic only to be pulled over by the police. "Oh my god! Why?!" I got out what they needed before the officer came to the car. I fixed my appearance in the mirror just incase I could persuade him to let me off the hook.

He walked up to my window. "Evening, mam, may I see your license and registration please," he spoke not looking from his gadget in his hand.
I handed him what he wanted and asked sweetly, "why are you pulling me over this evening Mr...," I looked at his tag, "Mr.Johnson."
He smirked. "Ms.Wright, Ive pulled you over because you were going 20 miles over the speed limit."
"Oh, dear me, I apologize, I have to be somewhere."
"Oh ok... I'll be right back," he walked to his car. It took him about 15 minutes and he came back to my car not smiling.
"Whats wrong, Mr.Johnson?"
"I need you to step out of the car, mam."
I got out only to be put in handcuffs. "What the hell is goin' on? Why are you arresting me?" I panicked. He read me my Miranda rights and put me in the back.
'What the hell is going on,' I thought.

Carlos

I was stopping by McDonald's to get something to eat when my phone rang. "Yo?"
"Carlos!" Chrissy yelled
"Whats wrong? Why you angry?"
"These bitch ass police locked me up and wont tell me what they arrested me for!"
Damn! "Aight, Im on my way. I gotcha."
"Please, hurry!" She hung up.

When I got to the police station, I walked in enraged. "Where is Chrissy Wright?!" I banged on the desk scaring the front desk lady. Then, a police officer walked up to me.
"Sir, Calm Down!!"
"Aint no calm bruh! What yall arrest her for?!"
"She has multiple drug charges against her."
I exhaled. "How much is her bail?"
"$3,000," the officer said simply.
I went into my pocket and paid the money. "Now, can you let her go?!"
Then, Chrissy walked in. When she saw me, she ran to me. "Oh my god! Thank you, Carlos," she hugged me.
"No problem, ma. Lets go we already late, and I bet you aint even packed yet."
She looked away. "No..."
I sighed and laughed, "Come on. Next flight at 9."
"Thank, god!" She turned to the police. "Can I get my keys?"
The officer handed her her keys and we left. She got in her car and I got in mine following her to her house.

She began to pack her clothes and for a weekend, she had a big ass suitcase. "Damn, how long you staying? A whole month?"
She glared at me. "Shut up. You can never be to sure. I have to have my options."
After 15 more minutes of packing, she was finally ready.
"Im ready," she said checking to make sure she had everything.
"About time," I yawned.
"Kiss my ass," she exclaimed
"I'd love too," I smiled smacking her ass. She punched me. I laughed to keep from crying cause that shit hurt.

We got to the airport, did the airport process and waited.
"Carlos?"
"Yea?"
"What are we?"
"Ion know yet, ma. What you wanna be?"
"What do you want me to be?"
"I want you to be my girlfriend. I want you to be my baby. I want you to show me that you can change me," I explained making her smile.
She grabbed my face and kissed me passionately. "I wanna be your girlfriend," she laughed. She put her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around her waist.

We boarded the plane and took our seats. She put her leg on mine, placed her head on my shoulder, put in her earplugs and fell asleep. I kissed her fore head.
