"Guys, You've two weeks before the daughter of Choi will come back, I want Leehan and Ivy to get her directly from the airport." Mr.Lee stated after asking everyone to come to the meeting room.
"And I've decided to send Jaehyun back, He promised us to send the information he gets, He will be in contact with you, Sungho." He continued looking at Sungho, who nodded understanding the situation.
"What if he tried to betray us?" Scarlet asked looking at the man standing beside Mr. Lee who smiled. "Miss Scarlet, If I even have a thought about betraying you, I will come to you myself and let you kill me however you desire." He stated taking a step towards her and getting stopped by Sungho's hand.
"Don't worry Scarlet, He will not do that. Choi did some stuff to his family and he is a total simp for you, the chances of him betraying is less." Sungho explained and Mr.Lee nodded.
"Guys, You can prepare for a mission for these two weeks. I'm gonna call you if I've something important to tell you. Dismiss" Mr.Lee stated as everyone stood up, Scarlet sitting infront of him while glaring at him.
"Sunshine, let's go." Taesan grabbed her hand as she continued staring at him. "I have something to ask him." She said grabbing his hand with the other hand. "Go ahead, love. I'll join you later." She smiled looking at him making his father shocked. "But-" Taesan stopped when she shook her head. "Wait for me outside." She softly whispered and he sighed. "Okay" he left before glancing at the man who had wide eyes.
"Why did you do that?" She asked crossing her hand infront of her. "What do you mean?" His father asked tilting his head. "You exactly know what I mean." She stated, her eyes getting darker as she stared at his father. "Ria-" He said, letting out a sigh. "I wanted to make you stronger." His father explained as she huffed. "by breaking me? By killing his mother?" She asked, raising his voice. "It wasn't in my plan, I just told my men to kidnap her and hide her safely from her son." His father explained. "What do you mean?" Ria asked leaning forward to him. "Ria, I told my men to get her from that mall but they got attacked by Choi and she died, It wasn't part of my plan. I still regret that to this day." He explained, making ria take a deep breath trying to control her tears.
"Is dongmin aware of it?" She asked and his father nodded. "Yeah, I told Sungho to tell hime everything." He stated and Ria stood up. "Why was I living in the shade for years?" She asked raising her voice and slamming her hand on the table. "I thought this incident would make you stronger and it did and you were too dependent on Taesan, That's why I had to-" She couldn't take it and walked outside the room, meeting Taesan waiting there.
"Sunshine-" he grabbed her as she looked at him, eyes full of tears. "I'm sorry Taesan, Can you please leave me alone for sometime?" She asked looking at him and he shook his head. "Not anymore." He said pulling her into a hug. "I can't see you broken anymore, let me fill up your deep wounds with love, I know it hurts scarlet but I need you to move on. I know it scares you but lean on me, Stop acting so strong, I know you need someone to rely on and it's totally fine." He whispered softly to her and she sighed trying to stop her tears.
"I'm scared that what happened in the past will happen again, I might start being dependent on you, I might get used to your love and I will break again." She spoke and he shook her head. "I didn't have any power back then and I was living in a lie. This time, I'll kill anyone who tried to separate us." He spoke and glanced at Mr.Lee who walked out, looking at his daughter hugging him. "I won't try to separate you again, I regret doing that once. I know, I am not in a position to ask for forgiveness but I really want my daughter to be happy. She is stronger than I've ever wanted her to be, but I wish that she will be happy now. The mission could've been done even without you, but the real mission was to make her live again." He stated and walked away.
"He is not a bad person." Taesan whispered and Scarlet looked at him before looking at her father walking away. "How can you say that? He took away your mother." She mumbled and he looked down at her. "It wasn't him, It was Choi." He stated and she sighed. "Let's ruin him together." She smiled and he nodded attaching his forehead to her.
"God, You were so much better as enemies." Ivy joked catching them as they pulled away, standing beside each other. "What do you mean?" Scarlet whined grabbing his arm. "I am joking, It's rare to see scarlet whining. Taesan definitely has a charm." She laughed looking at Leehan who copied her. "Hey, You can't tease me like that." Scarlet tried to get back to her self but Ivy giggled, walking towards her. "You're not scary, not even a bit." Ivy said pinching her cheeks, catching her off-guard. "Heyy!!" Scarlet shouted and Ivy ran away, Scarlet running behind her. "Wait, You've crossed the line." Scarlet spoke as she walked towards the giggling Ivy.
"She is cute." Taesan spoke admiring her. "So, This is what you were talking about." Leehan asked and Taesan smiled, nodding. "You're a simp for your girl" Leehan rolled his eyes. "Yeah, my girl, this time. But look who's saying." Taesan hit his shoulder to him making Leehan laugh.
