Taesan's POV
I walked towards the meeting room, looking at everyone sitting there, waiting for Mr.Lee to let us know about our next mission. I saw Ivy and Leehan discussing about something while looking at the screen infront of them and Scarlet heard whatever Sungho was saying.
"Morning" I stated and glanced at Scarlet as she just kept her eyes on Sungho, not even sparing me a glance. "Morning Tae" Leehan said with a smile which I replied back and sighed looking at her. I was shocked with how she held herself while not being fine inside. She broke down in my arms last night but I can't even say it's the same person. My chain of thoughts broke when Mr.Lee entered the room.
"Good morning" He stated taking the seat and attention of everyone. "As you all know, we have Yuta and I got to know that his brother isn't aware of it yet. So what should we do now? I need ur opinions" Mr.lee stated and Sungho spoke. "We can try to take advantage of it." He stated and Mr.Lee nodded. "Yeah but he refuses to speak." He said. "I'll take care of it." Scarlet said looking at his father who nodded. "Don't kill him this time." He stated and stood up.
"Let me know if you get any information out of him." He stated and left the room. "Sungho, Let's go." Scarlet let out standing from her seat. Sungho looked up, taking the files and following her action. "Do you need my help?" I asked looking at her as she nodded looking towards me. "Yeah." She shortly answered before turning towards the door. I followed her along with Sungho.
End of Taesan's Pov
Three of them walked towards the room where they tied the second son of Choi, He sat there having his hands tied along with some bruise on his face. Scarlet walked past him to get to the mysterious man they caught last night. She grabbed her dagger pointing it under his chin as he looked up with wide eyes.
"Who do you work for?" She asked and the man spoke. "Choi, I used to work for Choi." He stated looking at her, amusing her a little. "Who do you work for now?" She asked with an eyebrow raise and looked at the man smiling at her. "For you" She took the dagger away turning towards Sungho to check if he heard it. "What do you even mean?" Scarlet asked looking at him as he laughed.
"I'm gonna be your loyal soldier now, You own me and I'll do whatever you tell me to." The man said making Scarlet step away from him, Sungho walked towards him, Taesan following him. "Do you know what price you have to pay for liking Mr.Lee's daughter?" He asked and the man nodded. "I'm ready to die for her." He stated making three of them confuse. "When is Choi planning to visit his second house?" Sungho asked and the man spoke. "Not soon, They were waiting for Miss Choi to come back from abroad." He stated and they took a look at each other. "Miss Choi?" Taesan asked and the man nodded.
"Yeah, the daughter of Choi, they want her safe back home before starting any other mission." He stated. "What mission?" Sungho asked and the man spoke. "They're planning to blow up the arena full of people." He stated making three of them sigh. "So, that's our mission. To stop them?" Taesan asked and Sungho nodded.
"What's ur name?" Scarlet asked standing beside Sungho. "I'm Jaehyun, Miss Scarlet." He said with a smile which made her frown. "Sungho, I need you to take care of him. Take him out of this room and keep him close to you and away from me. I'm gonna go and have a talk with my father." She said and Sungho nodded understanding her.
She walked out, Taesan following him. "Are you ignoring me?" He asked making her halt. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to remove the flashbacks she was getting. "Are you avoiding me?" He asked now standing beside her and she looked up at him. "No" She said with a staight face and he nodded. "I think that guy is lying." Taesan said and Scarlet sighed. "I have same doubt, that's why I want to discuss this with dad." She said looking at him. "Should we go?" She asked and he nodded. Both of them walked towards his office.

"Turned out it's true." Taesan said as they walked out of the room. "Yeah, Choi has a daughter too?" She asked looking at him with wide eyes. "They were trying to hide their daughter while wanting to blow an arena?" Scarlet huffed crumbling the paper in her hand. "Leehan, Get me the information about the Choi's daughter, apparently she's studying in USA currently." Taesan said, both of them sitting infront Leehan and Ivy.
"Choi's daughter? What's her name?" He asked turning towards Taesan. "Choi Jisoo" Scarlet stated and he searched her trying to get the information about her.
"She is studying in Cambroolin University in USA in Arts department. Her course ends in a week." Leehan said and Taesan nodded. "So, we've a week, they are planning to do it after her return." He said and Scarlet nodded. "Do what?" Ivy asked and Scarlet explained the thing to everyone.
"I didn't know you were this smart, You already know your mission and you're even making strategies to go with it." Mr.lee overheard their conversation said looking at Taesan. "I should've trusted you with Ria." He mumbled looking at him confusing everyone. "What?" Ria asked turning towards him and he shook his head. "Nothing, Continue your work." He left with it, making Taesan sigh.
