"giyuu, watch out!" you yelled, your voice laced with urgency.
his reaction time was notoriously awful, and by the time he noticed the incoming danger, it was too late. as he exited his inventory, the screen flashed a furious red, accompanied by ominous text.
"oh... i died?" he said, blinking in disbelief.
waterboygiyuu was blown up by a creeper.
you doubled over, chuckling as you looked at his monitor. the two of you had decided to dive into minecraft, taking advantage of a rare break from work to enjoy some quality gaming time together. setting up your pcs in the same room was a genius move. now you could play side by side, sharing laughter and occasional exasperation.
"yes, you died, my lovely!" you said, your giggles ringing like sweet bells.
he couldn't help but smile at your infectious laughter. it filled the room with warmth, making him feel as if he'd hit the jackpot in the lottery of love.
"alright, would you like to play a different game then?" you asked, still chuckling.
"lowkey, i'm feeling like playing some roblox," he replied, a hint of mischief in his voice.
"roblox? that's... surprising!" you exclaimed, raising an eyebrow in mock skepticism.
as he booted up roblox, you opened yours too. a quick glance at his avatar sent you into a fit of giggles.
"giyuu, what the hell is that avatar?" you asked, laughing until your sides hurt.
"what's wrong with my avatar? yours looks like glep from smiling friends!" he shot back, pointing at your screen and bursting into laughter.
"okay, but yours is just hilarious! i know it's alan from smiling friends, but he's built weird!" you wiped tears of laughter from your eyes.
"yeah, you have a point," he admitted, inspecting his character with a bemused expression.
while you scrolled through game options, giyuu suddenly perked up, his eyes sparkling with an idea.
"y/n, should we do matching avatars?" he asked, a playful grin spreading across his face.
you tilted your head, intrigued. "of course, my love! i'll do anything with you. what did you have in mind?"
he leaned back, a mischievous smile creeping onto his lips. "let's both be hamsters."
"hamsters?!" you exclaimed, unable to suppress your giggles.
"yes, hamsters," he repeated, his seriousness contrasting with your amusement.
"alright then, i won't question it!" you replied, laughter bubbling up again.

"i'm getting quite hungry," you announced, glancing at him with a playful pout.
giyuu paused, a thoughtful look crossing his face. he turned around and, as if performing magic, produced your favorite snacks from a hidden stash.
"whoa! are you a magician? why do you have this, giyuu?" you asked, grinning as you accepted the chips and drink.
"i know you love snacking, so i stocked up on a few of your favorites and hid them in my little cubby next to my desk," he said, watching you with warm admiration as you dug into the treats.
"but i'll order something on doordash. is there anything you want in particular, my love?" he inquired.
you both donned your imaginary thinking caps, contemplating the best food options.
"hmmm, should we say 'screw it' and get mcdonald's?" you suggested, your eyes twinkling with mischief.
"we can!" he replied, instantly pulling up the app to place the order.
"thank you, giyuu!" you said, standing up to envelop him in a tight hug.
he grinned and pulled you onto his lap, holding you close as if he could shield you from the world.
"you cheesy boy," you teased, giggling.
"it's not cheesy, my dear. i just wanted you closer," he said, beaming at you, his heart swelling at the sound of your laughter.
your happiness was like a warm glow, and he felt it radiate through him. if you were happy, he was happy, if you were sad, his heart mirrored yours.
"i love you, giyuu," you whispered, planting a sweet kiss on his nose.
"i love you, my pretty girl," he replied, pulling you in for a gentle kiss, the kind that made everything else fade away.
