Legends are lessons they ring with truth, the myth of the last sovereign who ruled what once a great and prosper elven kingdom in the far south, deep within the vast forest. The young elven princess rose to the throne after the gruesome demise of her predecessor, trying to maintain what ever last remaining authority she has, in her dire attempt to keep her kingdom safe upon the impending doom that is coming from the unknown sea.
The southern elves fought valiantly, they fought nobly, yet the enemy struck a blow so powerful it shakes the earth it self. Witnessing such power, the princess soon realize all of her struggle and preparation she did to face this evil.. are futile.
The kingdom fell within a day, the place she holds dear and the people she sworn to protect are now nothing but ashes. Everything was lost, leaving her as the last one standing. On her last dying breath, she decided its her destiny to stop this evil with the cost of her life. She may not have a kingdom to fight for anymore, but she can feel the heavens bestowed her this duty to stop that monstrosity before it engulve the world into eternal darkness.
She rose her dagger, but not at her foe. Blade pointing directly at her chest, eyes close facing the blood red sky. She plunge the blade trough her heart, declaring her life as a sacrificed to the old primordial that dwels within the underworld. As her soul descend into the abyss, she cast the forbidden incantation.
"Oh old ones who rules the void, I present my soul as a payment for your aid, countless pain, countless misery, for you the merciless that can lend me a power to banquish my enemy. Oh old ones.. bound this creature to the immortal abyss, where it can stay hidden till the end of time.. Eternal Prison!!"
"Yeah right! Now she uses the forbidden spell? Im not saying she is dumb, but she couldve use it sooner, like.. BEFORE her entire kingdom burn to the ground" Elliot commented rudely, with a heavily added sarcasm to the word 'before'. interupting the reading that is currently in motion.
Maggie smiles at that man while she slowly closing the book in her lap, she is smiling yet its visible a vein is about to burst. "Elliot, do you mind? Im in the middle of something here" reminding Elliot that she is currently not reading for her self, but for a room full of children.
"Legends are lessons? I call it bullcrap" he said. "Listen kids, the only lesson you can get from this story is that use the best weapon you got first! Okay, FIRST!, or the evil will destroy everything you-"
"Elliot.. that's enough!" Again, Maggie asserting her anger calmly as possible.
But Elliot doesn't seem to show any intention to stop. "No no, why are we reading this fairy tale to them? We have actual story to tell, that's literally the reason why we're here, to tell them OUR story, like REAL life adventure-"
"Okay! that's enough, youre coming with me!" swiftly stepping in to prevent anymore words to come out of Elliots foul mouth.
"Hey! No! Put me down!" Elliot retaliate as soon as that man—who is twice his size—lift him up, and put Elliot on his shoulder.
"You've been terribly misbehaving, perhaps a little sunlight will calm you down" Beck said calmly.
"What? No! Maggie stop him! You know im right!" yet he is still resisting sturdly, wiggling like crazy in an attempt to escape. "Let me go! This story suck! Why bother hiring some actual Asters if you just gonna make us read fixional stuff to these children!!"
"Get him out of here.." Maggie mumbles in pain, shes been trough a lot, but this level of embarassment is just on a another level.
Elliot plunge his hand in to the door frame, hanging in to it for dear life as he keep voicing his oppinion. "The children need to know the real lesson! That princess is stupid as fu-"
