The Pooja started with everyone seated around the holy fire and holy chants echoing the place. At the end of the Pooja the pandit blessed them all one by one . He gave them a holy thread to tie around the divine tree with their life partner . As the pandit passed mishti he blessed her .
" Sadha suhagan raho ." He gave mishti the holy thread .
His blessings took everyone by surprise .
" Ji ... Wo shaadi shuda nahi hai pandit ji " swarna tried to clear the misunderstanding. But mishti was internally elated though she tried to maintain a stunned facade . Abir was literally flying in the sky .
The pandit ji with a mysterious smile stated " ashirwad maa ka hai hum tho bas zariya hai ... Kisko Jo ashirvad yeh unki iccha hai .." pandit ji left
Leaving everyone baffled ... Sawna tried to break the tense atmosphere... " Koi baat nahi mishti yeh daaga sambal ke rakna baad mai apne pati ke saath band Dena ..." She gently caressed mishti hair . She was hell of worried for her youngest daughter .
After some time all the couples did the venerations around the holy tree tying the holy thread around the tree with their partner . Mishti adored kaira . Naira in front and Karthik following behind her like a puppy . Mishti winked at Karthik teasing him as she witness a moment between them . Karthik avered his gaze blushing .
After everyone completed the ritual all went to the opposite part of the temple as they started distributing prashad to people . Mishti was distributing ladoo to children when she felt someone drag her behind the pillar before she could yell cover her lips with palm . ..
"Shhhh Mai hoon mishti ..."
Hearing the familiar voice mishti relaxed and gave him accusing glare.
" Baad mai goor na ab chalo , pata hai mai hot and dashing hoon..."
She frowned and pointed to family .
" Koi baad nahi ... Bodyguard hai na ..." He pointed to a nervous Kunal standing with a stiff expression. He was looking like the perfect example of a studious student trying to cheat.
She pointed to Kunal with a pointed look making abir rub his neck sheepish.
" Jab tez sports car nahi mila tho purana cycle sae kham chalana padta . And don't worry Mera nanko is studious jaldi seek jayega . Ab chalo tho sahi. "
Abir abruptly started pulling her to the opposite side of temple till we reached th holy tree . He gently held my shawl where the hold thread was tied in a knot securely .
He untangled the knot . Covered her head with her shawl holding the holy thread in his hand. He extended his hand to her facing the holy tree to complete the ritual.
Mishti smiled at his antics and held his hand tight . They prayed to Durga maa and started circling around the tree with holy rope .
Abir and mishti silently vowed in their mind as they started veneration .
Main humesha kadam Mai kadam milakar chalunga mishti .
Jab kadam dagmadai tho samblane humesha muje saath paoge abir .
Mai kabhi tuje girne nahi doonga mishti.
Mai kabhi tuje harne nahi doongi abir .
Tu aasma Mai udne keliye bani ho mishti . Kisiko tere pank katne nahi doonga .
