„Oh my god, I am so so sorry!" the girl said, her hand reaching out for Germany to get up.
She scoffed, already fed up with her day. It just seemed like nothing has been going her way. She looked up at the girl, their eyes meeting. Her face expression encouraging Germany to take her hand and get up.
She found herself enamored at the sight of the girl's face, something about her appearance brought her comfort. From the first impression, Germany could already tell how much of a sweetheart she must be. She already regretted the scoffing she did just a moment ago.
She grabbed the girl's hand, gently rising from the cold, slick floor. Her hand was so warm, and feeling her touch made Germany feel somehow safe.
„It's okay, I should've been looking at where I was going. I think I was a little bit zoned out, honestly," Germany explained, earning a little chuckle from the girl she had just met.
„No need to apologise! I bumped into you, not the other way," she reacted, reaching for her shopping bag which was still on the floor. „Here you go, have a great day!" she smiled while passing the bag to Germany.
She was fascinated by the girl's smile, it suited her face perfectly. The way her eyes light up with it, making her look so cute. Her long brown hair falling perfectly in her face, and the look of genuineness on her face.
Before Germany could respond with anything, the girl had already left the shop with her coffee. Already embarrassed, she started thinking about all the things she could've said or done, like at least asking for her name. She felt stupid, just hoping she would have a chance to meet the girl again.
She pushed all the thoughts away, remembering she's at the coffee shop she was supposed to get her coffee at. She walked up to the counter, ordering the drink she had planned previously.
She decided to drink it on her way home, while listening to music on shuffle. For some reason, even with music, Germany couldn't stop thinking about the girl she had just met. All she could think about was if the girl would remember her, if she was also thinking about her at the moment.
Her phone buzzed, getting Germany out of her thoughts.

2 from Sloane.
She clicks onto Sloane's notifications, not feeling like checking what Dave had to say at that moment. She was almost home either way.

Germany was too tired to even respond at that point. She had spent most of her day thinking and talking about Dave, and when she met that girl it was like everything felt okay. Like every single one of her problems disappeared and the girl was everything Germany could focus on.
