I sat in my usual seat in the local library, studying for my exams on my computer. I sat near the back, where the 3 big windows are. The view is beautiful here, I had the most focus in this spot, it made studying enjoyable. For once, someone was back there with me. It was her again, she whispered to me that she had a good feeling about coming today, and is glad she did. We studied together, Her on her space project, and I on my math exams.

I guess I fell asleep, because the next thing I know, I could feel her behind me, placing her sweater on my back. I woke up and it was dark, the library was empty and she was gone as well, I put her sweater on completely and headed home after packing up my belongings.

I invited her over my house the next day, even after knowing she'd be there, Istill got excited and hopped up when I heard the loud ringing of my doorbell. Iskipped downstairs and let her inside, we stayed in my room reading and playingwith the plentiful amount of plushies I have stacked on my bed. I caught myselfstaring at her as she read the book aloud to me, yet I couldn't be bothered tostop. I laid on my cat plushie as I listened to her every word. She stoppedreading for a moment, and reached into her backpack, pulling out a dog plushieof her own, with the tag still on. She handed it to me with a smile, I took it,and looked at it in my hands, feeling my eyes light up. I cuddled it and gaveher a smile that brightened up the room.

I scrunched into my jacketfur and hugged my dog plushie as I sat on a cold bleacher in front of abaseball field. She was on that field, her hair in a ponytail as a cap sat atopher head, her jersey read #4. For a moment, in the middle of the game, I sawher look at me. She seemed uninterested in her friends cheering her on rightnext to her for winning their game, She smiled, and waved towards me, swingingher bat in her other hand. That small moment almost felt like forever.

Later on that night, afterher baseball game, we laid on the roof of the school together watching theglowing moon and the clear, starry, night sky. Connecting constellations, naming silly things they looked like as if they were clouds. Laughing andgiggling, and before I knew it I was sleep... yet, not too deep into the sleep tobe unable to feel the warmth from her lips on my forehead and the strand of hersilky hair that grazed my cheek as she moved back over to her spot.
