INAAYA's POV
It's my first day of college and guess who is late? Yeah, that's me. I woke up late and then went to the gym as I don't like to miss my sessions. Your girl is a gym enthusiast, and because of that, I'm running late for class.
My best friend Keshav is calling me incessantly like a madman. I finally picked up his call. "Where are you, inaaya? Class is about to start! Come fast," he says.
"I'm coming, just two minutes, Keshu," I replied.
Keshav and I have been best friends since childhood. We went to the same school, but four years ago, my parents shifted to Mumbai. Maintaining a long-distance friendship with Keshav was tough, but we managed. I tried making friends in Mumbai, but there's something unique about Delhi friendships. Now, I'm back in Delhi for college, living alone in my old house, and Keshav has been a tremendous help with the move.
Finally, I reach my class and sit beside Keshav. "Finally, you came. How did you get late on your first day of college?" he asks.
"I woke up late, then gym and everything occupied my time," I replied.
"You and your gym! You could have skipped today," he says.
"I could have, but leave it. Let's focus on the class. I don't want to be kicked out on my first day," I say, and we start paying attention to the lecture.
Time Skips
Classes finally end, and I've made a new friend, Riya. She's in my class, and the three of us are Keshav, Riya, and I have become friends. Now, we're in the canteen, starving and discussing the day's events.
Riya is from Kolkata and came to Delhi for college just like , she lives in a rented apartment alone . She is very sweet and kind .
"Guys, this Saturday is my birthday. Since you both are my only friends in Delhi, would you please come to my birthday party ? It's my 19th birthday, and I've always wanted to celebrate in a club," Riya says.
"Riya, why didn't you tell us earlier? Of course, we'll come!" Keshav replies enthusiastically.
"Sure, Riya! We'll come and celebrate your birthday in the club .so now be ready for your first clubbing experience ," I add.
"Thank you so much, guys! I'll text you the club details," Riya says, beaming.
AUTHOR's POV
Saturday arrived quickly, bringing with it a buzz of excitement. Inaaya and Keshav were eager to celebrate Riya's birthday. Inaaya had spent the day picking out the perfect outfit, a chic black dress that highlighted her graceful figure. Riya's party was at one of the most popular and expensive clubs in Delhi. The trio met outside the club, greeted by the pulsating beats of the music and the vibrant energy of the crowd.
