Inaaya's POV
Yesterday was anything but ordinary; it was a rollercoaster of a day. It began with a throbbing headache, followed by the unsettling realization that I had a stalker
someone who inexplicably knew all my favorite things. By evening, the unexpected encounter with Aahan left me reeling. Not only did he notice me in college, but he also acknowledged me in a way that made me feel seen. Sure, I know I have a good looks and hot figure thanks to my dedication to the gym, but I never expected to catch his eye. He's perpetually surrounded by a swarm of beautiful girls.Aahan turned out to be incredibly sweet and kind. It's easy to see why every girl is drawn to him. Yet, I can't help but assume he's dating someone; he's so strikingly handsome that any girl would be enamored by him. Such are the perks of being rich and famous.
Now, I'm in my last class of the day, sitting with my best friends.
"Guys, a new cafe just opened in CP. We should check it out after college. What do you think?" Riya suggested, her tone bright and cheerful.
"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea!" Keshav replied, clearly excited.
"Sorry, guys, I can't join you today. I have a marketing society meeting right after this class, and I need to attend. It's important," I explained, feeling a pang of regret.
"It's okay, we can all go together another day," Keshav said, trying to be understanding.
"Guys, don't cancel your plans because of me. You two go ahead and enjoy. I'll join you another time," I insisted.
"No way. It's settled. We're not visiting any new cafe without you. Now, go on and attend your meeting," Riya said firmly, leaving no room for argument.
Time skips...
AAHAN'S POVI never enjoyed these society meetings and administrative tasks, but as the President of the Marketing Society, it was part of the package. Today, I was early, waiting impatiently for the rest of the members to arrive so we could get started and hopefully wrap up on time. Also I am little bit nervous as it's would be my first meeting as a society president.
As I scanned the room, a familiar face walked in. It was Inaaya, the girl who had been on my mind ever since our I saw her
. She looked a bit flustered but composed herself quickly as she took a seat. I couldn't help but notice her striking presence.Inaaya came straight to me and asked with a hint of curiosity, "Are you also in this society?"
"Yes, ma'am, at your service," I replied with a playful grin, trying to lighten the mood.
She laughed, a sound that immediately put me at ease. "I didn't expect to see you here."
"Well, surprises seem to be our thing," I said, giving her a wink. "Glad you could make it."
"Thank you, Aahan. I wouldn't miss it," she replied, giving me a small smile.
The meeting began, but I found it hard to concentrate. My thoughts kept drifting back to Inaaya. There was something about her that intrigued me, something beyond her good looks and confident demeanor. As we discussed the agenda, I couldn't shake the feeling that this meeting was going to be different.
After we wrapped up, I caught up with Inaaya as she was gathering her things. Just as I was about to approach her, a guy came up and started talking to her. He seemed to be her classmate, judging by their casual conversation and laughter.
A pang of jealousy hit me as I watched them. I couldn’t help but feel a bit envious of how easily he made her smile. Trying to keep my composure, I waited for a moment to approach her, hoping for a chance to talk to her alone.
