The days passed, and Liam visited Aster's Blooms regularly. Each time, he wanted Aster's expertise for a new bouquet, and each time for different girls, Aster found it a little weird.

But as time passed, Aster felt a little closer to him. They shared small talk and laughter, and Aster found herself looking forward to his visits more than she cared to admit.

One day, as she was arranging a display of sunflowers, the bell jingled, and Liam walked in with a bright smile. "Good morning, Aster."

"Good morning, Liam," Aster replied, her heart lifting at the sight of him. "Back for another bouquet?"

"Actually, yes," Liam said, rubbing the back of his neck. "But this time, it's not for a date."

Aster looked at him curiously. "Oh? Who's the lucky recipient, then?"

"My mom," Liam said, his expression softening. "It's her birthday, and I want to get her something special. She's always loved flowers, but I never knew what to get her until I started coming here."

Aster's heart melted at his words. "That's so sweet, Liam. I'm sure she'll love whatever you choose. How about we go with something that symbolizes gratitude and love? Carnations are perfect for that, and we can add some lavender for a calming touch."

Liam nodded, watching as Aster selected the flowers with care. "You know, I think coming here is the best decision I've made in a while."

Aster glanced up at him, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "I'm glad you feel that way."

As she finished the bouquet, Liam reached into his pocket and pulled out a small notebook. "I've been keeping notes on the meanings of the flowers you tell me about. I never realized how much thought goes into them."

Aster couldn't help but blush, as Liam was trying to keep a note on the flowers. "That's wonderful, Liam. Flowers have their own language, and it's amazing to see you taking an interest in it."

Liam took the bouquet, his fingers brushing against Aster's briefly. "Thank you, Aster. For everything."

As he left the shop, Aster felt something different, a feeling that she hadn't felt before. Liam's regular visits had become a part of her life.

And as the days went by, she couldn't help but wonder if, perhaps, there was something more blossoming between them.
