" Hey sunny, Anna was wondering if you were free tonight to go to this dinner party?" Isadora ( a Co-worker at the pet palace) said.
" UH, No I have a date." I said
" A DATE?!?!" Isadora yelled causing everyone in the palace to look.
" Shhh! Yes a date with a cutie." I said smiling with my hands on Isadora's shoulders.
" a date I hear huh? Enola ( another co-worker) said.
" yes, a date tonight at L'Artusi tonight at 8. I said still geeked at the fact that i'm going on my first date tonight for the first time in 2 years. Every guy that I have talked to within the last 3 years have been 1. RACIST, 2. RACIST FAMILY 3. RACIST FRIENDS.
I hope Miles isn't like that.
" L'Artusi?!?! oooo Fancy! Who's the lucky guy?" ISadora said smiling at me.
" Miles.." I said.
" That's all? You don't know his last name? What if he's a serial killer." Enola Said clutching her necklace in nervousness.
" It's okay Enola, I'm sure he's not a serial kil-" I said before I got cut off by another co-worker.
" maybe it's Miles Black." Kalila ( another co-worker) said.
" MILES BLACK?!?!?! Can't be that man is a billionaire he wouldn't wanna go on a date with someone like me." I was surprised that his name was even brought up.
" Did you see this man's face?" Enola asked.
" n- no, Why?" I said.
" What do you mean no? How are you going on a date and you don't even know what he looks like?" Isadora said confused.
" well, he came in very late the other night, when I was closing but he had a cap on so I didn't really see his face very well, but we ran into each other again at the store earlier this morning. And he had sunglasses on." I said trying my hardest to defend myself.
" god, what if he's ugly." Isadora said giggling.
" Miles Black is VERY attractive" Kalila said putting a hand on My shoulder in comfort.
" What if it's not THE miles Black what if it's just some random man named miles." Enola said worried.
" Exactly." Isadora said.
" Well I don't know, but he is very fit." I said.
" OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Isadora, Enola and, Kalila said at the same time.
" guys shhhh!" I said laughing.
" Okay!" I said clapping her hands.
" Get back to work!" I said giggiling.
