During dinner, the boys asked for the girl's help.
"Could you all give us an opinion on whom we should make a centre?" Seon asked Weixing who was currently the oldest among the girls. She looked at Heyoon and blinked in plea. Heyoon, who always stuck by her side to talk, rolled her eyes and nodded.
"She- I mean, we will. Is everyone okay with gathering downstairs in the practice room once we all are done with our dinner?" Heyoon asked out loud, making them nod.
"You seem to be the interacting in the girls." Nicholas whispered to her, having sat beside her making her chuckle. "Most of them are I."
"Introvert?"
"Mm. That's why they make me talk to others." She said making him look at her questioningly. "You don't come and talk to me tho."
A grin replaced her neutral face, looking away. "Araso, I'll come talk to you." She replied making him laugh while shaking his head.
"It's okay, I was just joking."
"Oppa, how are you all coming along with the performance?" She asked making him hum.
"I honestly don't think I'm doing well in terms of my vocal, but rest of them are working really hard. Everyones trying to do their best, especially Ni-ki." He replied and looked down at his food. "I'm worried that I'm not their level-"
"Well, if you keep thinking like that, you better forget about coming to their level." She interrupted harshly. "Wae? What do even get from thinking you aren't better? Just focus on what you can do and just do better every time. I'm rooting for you, I'm sure you'll get better."
Nicholas was grateful that she wasn't sugar coating him by saying that he is good and instead was straight forward that he still had room for improvement but they way she worded it was so nice that he felt he was being complimented and that left him all bubbly throughout the day.
"Nicholas hyung is acting weird." Ni-ki mumbled to Taki as they stared at at the said boy who was dancing to the song while giving top tier expression, something no body had seen before.
"Why do you think that happened? Taki asked. Seon who was sitting behind them, watching the choreography video looked up.
"He was talking with Heyoon this morning, after that he is like that." Seon informed.
"Ah, then it's alright."
D-day 00:08:45
Everyone was going through the choreography and vocal for the last few minutes. Watching and reacting to each other's moves and notes.
Micha held Heyoon's hand in her's and looked at her questioningly.
"Are are your hands cold?" She asked, knowingly well enough that Heyoon's hand only becomes cold when she is nervous, scared or anxious. She only shook her head in reply.
Truth be told, Heyoon isn't a singer. She is good at rapping since her naturally raspy voice helps it. Dancing came easy to her for some reason but singing was a nuisance to her. She loved hearing others sing but she never did herself. She got the 4th part but she only sang it in a breathy voice to hide the fact that she can't sing well.
