CHAPTER 7 - HEAVEN WITHOUT DEATH ──────────────────
"YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!!" Gojo cried as y/n stepped out into the living room. She was wearing a dusty pink and white floral kimono. A white hibiscus was pinned above her ear, bringing out the sparkle in her eyes.
Y/n skipped to Gojo and hugged him around his waist, looking up with a smile. "What's the...special occasion? You're also dressed up."
Y/n pulled away as Gojo flashed his outfit dramatically. He wore a dark blue kimono and thin black sunglasses with his white hair styled down. She reached up to move a few loose strands from in front of his eyes, pinching his ear lobe. "You look handsome!"
Gojo pushed her shoulder playfully. "Oh stop it! Let's go!" He suddenly turned around and squatted, startling y/n.
"Uhm...Satoru?"
"Hop on!"
"...You want me...to ride on your back?"
"Yep!"
"...Okay." She giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck and straddling his back. Gojo jumped up, adjusting her. "Can I know where we're going?...And why...we are dressed like this?"
"You'll see!" He replied excitedly, walking out onto his porch and onto the sidewalk. He began walking through the school's grounds, making his way through the garden and around the old dorm quarters. The cicadas sang loudly, their melody ringing through the midnight air. The stars above their heads twinkled brighter than they had ever before, with no clouds covering the sky.
Eventually they made it towards the edge of campus, where one of their largest hills sat. Gojo energetically carried y/n to the highest point where a picnic blanket was laid out underneath a giant tree. "Here we are!" Gojo set y/n down on the blanket, joining her at her side.
Y/n gazed in awe at the scenery as she was able to see the entire Jujutsu High campus from their seats. "I've...never been here."
"Itadori discovered it a while ago. It's a great place to come get fresh air!" Gojo explained, intertwining his arm with y/n's.
She shifted her gaze to Gojo, who seemed to be focused on the horizon in front of them. "...Satoru--"
Suddenly, a loud boom exploded through the atmosphere, a bright green light illuminating the sky. Y/n turned back towards the school with a yelp, watching a series of colorful bright fireworks pop in the air. "F...Fireworks!!'
Gojo rested his head on his girlfriends' shoulder. "Shoko asked me to do this for you...Said you hadn't seen any since we were kids so, ta da! Fireworks!!"
