A Happy Ending

Yeaaaaaaah, I took a while with this, I think a year (Maybe 2). I'M SO SORRY!!! I'll be surprised if anyone actually reads this chapter. But I changed my original plan of making like 8 more chapters before I finish this into just one last chapter. Since I have another project that I'm working on.

I'm also sorry if i get wrong info, It's been a while and I'm kind of... rusty, yeah...

So I'll see you if I post a OVA chapter or in my new book. But I hope you enjoyed it and I hope to see you wherever I'll see you!

Gray's POV
         After that, Erza had confessed to me, we went on a date and eventually became a couple. Juvia left the school without any goodbyes only to come back a few months later with a guy named Lyon. Jellal disappeared not even saying anything to Erza, leaving her depressed for weeks. Luckily, I was there right beside her. It's been a few years now and we're finally seniors and graduating. Nothing much changed here in Fairytail Academy, Lucy and Natsu did finally get together and won Prom king and Queen, as expected of them. And as for me and Erza? We're doing our own thing right now, seeing where our relationship takes us.

"Hey! What are you doing, just waiting around here! We have a graduation party to attend." Erza exclaimed, breaking my train of thought. I turned around to see all of my friends surrounded around me awaiting me to come along with them. I smiled at them and they smiled back. But then everyone had a horrified face on them. 

"What?" I asked.

Lucy stuttered, " G-gray... Where's your clothes?" I looked down only to see some trousers about to slip off me.  

"WHAT THE HELL! I HAD THEM ON A SECOND AGO! Well, that's $200 gone." I shrugged. Everyone giggled but didn't pay much attention about it since everyone was basically used to it by now. 

I need to go grab my extra clothes can you come with me Erza? You can go without us, we'll catch up."  And so the squad, Erza and I had separated. I looked back to see Natsu give me a thumbs up, indicating his that everything was ready for my proposal.

I walked with Erza to a nearby park, still half naked. I could see Erza staring at my abs and when I gave her a flirtatious look she looked away her face all red. 

"Where are you even going right now? You know you're in public half naked walking around in a park? You are so lucky no one is here right now." Erza said, face still red.

"Come ooon, I know you like it." Winking at her and flashing a bright smile.

"Shut up! Just get a shirt on already!" She giggled. I laughed along with her, attempting to act casual, but I was seriously dying inside. The pressure to propose to her was getting to me, what if she doesn't accept? What if I asked too early? All these thoughts had clouded my head.

A hand waved across my face back and forth with Erza looking puzzled. At that moment, I blanked out, I was just staring at her in awe. Her beautiful brown eyes, her red hair long and silky. 

"Will you marry me?" I heard a gasp and waited for the worst to come. However, all I got was a YES and that was enough for me to get up and kiss Erza right away! We had an intense moment just kissing each other in silence. 

Then I felt a pair of trousers hit my head. I turned around to see Natsu and the whole gang staring at both of us approvingly. I looked back and Erza and she looked sternly at everyone besides me. However, everyone ignored her glares and Natsu patted me on the shoulder.

"So you finally did it huh? I'm proud of you dude." I nodded my head and replied with,

"When are you gonna propose to Lucy though? She probably would love to marry you, loser!" 
Natsu blushed and quietly replied with,

"When the time is right, I love her and I really don't want to screw this up with her. Anyways, GET YOUR CLOTHES ON WE'RE GOING OUT TO PARTY!!" 

"We have to get back to the graduation party so put on your clothes already and let's go!" Lucy urged.

We walked along with the gang, but still trailing a bit behind. Erza still staring lovingly at her new ring. I stared at her lovingly for a long while, well, at least long enough to slam my face against a tree. 

We ended up making it back the the graduation party in 5 minutes, but it turns out the banquet hall had locked us out! So all of us headed over to a karaoke place. It seemed fitting for one of our last times with everyone before separating.

Everyone sang songs from all genres, from country to pop. Lucy and Natsu did a duet from "Love is an open door" before they urged me to sing. Everyone knew Erza was basically tone deaf when it came to singing, not even gonna lie about that. But I was apparently called a god at singing. So I sang a super cheesy romance song dedicated to Erza and then started having a rap battle with Natsu.

After all that, everyone left, saying their goodbyes one last time. Erza and I walked to our home together. Did I ever mention that we live together now? Well, we plopped on to the couch exhausted from that entire series of events. We cuddled in silence for at least 10 minuted until Erza broke the silence.

"You know Gray, This feels so right, just being together right now. I wish we could stay like this forever."

"We could. I at least that I want to spend my whole entire life with you and you only."

She blushed a light pink, and punched me playfully

"Stop saying such embarrassing things and just kiss me!" And so I did.

I don't know what will happen in the future for us two, but at least I'll know I'll be doing everything with her, my love, my Fiance... Erza.

Yeah, it's been a veeeery veeery long time since I updated. I finally finished this chapter! After like 2 years of procrastinating! I just felt so guilty leaving everyone who wanted to see the end of this story be incomplete! So here you go! I'm not sure if you'll be seeing more fanfics of more however. I'll probably rarely be here, but i might post stories about my ocs and romance first person books just for the fun of it!
