F I V E

The days seemed to be flying by. There was a hurricane approaching tomorrow, and our group was hanging out at an off-limits construction site. The view was amazing from here, and we could see the ocean.

I was sitting next to Matt with my head on his shoulder, and his arms were up on the railing. Andrew was swinging on some hanging wood. Isaac and Levi and Ralph were pushing Andrew while he was swinging.

"Isa, I'm sorry, but your sister is hella annoying," Kenny said, sitting on the balcony railing and throwing his knife at the wood near him.

"Don't I know it," I said, rolling my eyes. Matt chuckled a bit and pinched my side, which made me laugh and swat his hand away.

"What do you have there?" I asked.

"It's a knife," he said.

"I can see that," I said, "but what's it for?"

"It's for protection," he said. "You never know when you might need it."

"I guess that makes sense," I said. "But I don't think I'd ever need a knife."

"You never know," he said again.

I shook my head and looked away. I didn't want to think about needing a knife. I wanted to think about the hurricane that was coming tomorrow.

"It's my knife though," Matt said looking over at Kenny. Kenny nodded and closed the knife and threw it up to Matt. Matt caught it and Put it in his pocket.

"There's a party tonight you guys down to go?" Kenny said looking at all of us.

"I'm down!" Andrew said swinging still.

"I'm always down for a party," Matt smirked. My head was still on his shoulder.

"Please I have been craving to get drunk for so long," Isaac said pushing Andrew to Levi.

"I'll go. I mean my parents are still pissed at me but it's fine." I said smiling.

"Jeez, girl. what did you do now." Matt looked at me. I laughed a bit.

"I put a hole in the wall. I was messing around with some knives pretending I was a ninja and It slipped out of my hand causing a hole in the wall. I guess I was way too close to the wall" I laughed a bit.

"Jeez," Kenny said his eyes opened wide.

"Count me in!" Ralph yelled out and got hit in the balls by Andrew. He fell to the ground groaning. We all laugh at him. Ralph was lying there in pain. Andrew kept swinging. Ralph finally got up. They were pushing Andrew higher and higher and It started to creek. They ignored it.

The wood breaks and Andrew goes flying onto the floor.

"Ahhh my ass hurts." He said grabbing his butt and groaning. Isaac, Ralph, and Levi all start laughing. Matt, Kenny, and I all look over to see what happened till we hear cop cars.

"Oh shit we got to run," Matt said standing up He helped me up and I climbed down. Ralph then ran. We followed after Ralph running down the stairs. Isaac helped Andrew up and they started running.

"Get over here you scamps!" The cop yelled out. Andrew flipped off the cop and continued running. Matt and I ran down a different way and the cop found us We instantly turned around.

"Go Go Go" Matt was laughing and running behind me. Kenny and Ralph climbed the fence into a field. Levi jumped down the stairs meeting with me and Matt. Andrew and Isaac ran another way and a female cop was there running after them. Isaac kicked down a door and He fell and quickly got up. The construction site is a maze of scaffolding and half-finished rooms. It's easy to get turned around, and we're running blindly, hoping to find an exit. The walls weren't even up yet either.
