My solemn mornings
Convey my truthful sorrows
Before I could say my name
A thought that kept me awakeThe ringing to my ear
When I stayed
I should've walked away
My intellect not ready for your truthA comforting lie
All I ever knew
"Meet me inside of you"
But I told you what I would do
"Seek me upon yourself"
Portrait of me upon my shelfBut what does it mean
"Would you explain it to me?"
Draw me a picture,please
Until I believe you
Not what I chose to but
Once I'm convinced
Convinced by you
And your comforting lie
Masking your hurtful truth.
