The Present:
I woke up that morning. The last day of Summer. I could survive. I walk outside of my room to see my step-sister Elena reading a book.
"Looks like someone is awake." She said."How did you sleep?"
"It came back to me again." I said.
"Chloe I'll never let something like that happen to you again Ok." Elena said. I nodded. We went down stairs to see my step-mom Savanna i, cooking pancakes.
About me my parents got divorced when I was in third grade. Then about a year later my dad married Savanna . And her four kids names are Elena, Marcus, Addi, and Copper. My mom got married a year after my dad. My stepdad Lewis, he used to live in Michigan. Then I have my two siblings Conner and Lilly. I love everyone in my family.
"Good morning you two. How was your sleep." Savanna said. "Your dad is at work Chloe."
"Ok." I said.
"Finally you two are awake." Marcus said.
"What us girls need our beauty sleep." Elena said.
"Enough bickering you two come eat." Savanna said. We all sat to eat. Savanna is the best cook. After we finished eating me and Elena went to go get our stuff for school ready.
"Are you excited for school?" Elena asked.
"No not really." I said.
"Chloe don't worry. You're gonna be fine." Elena said. Would I though. What if he tries to hurt me again. I don't need more scars. I would have to deal with it all year. Last year my parents let me home school cause of what happened. They made me go back for my senior year. I really wanted to stay home schooled but they made me go back to school.
"Just I'm a bit scared that's it." I said.
"Chloe I'll be at school to don't worry you'll also have Kevin." Elena said. Kevin was one of my friends from my childhood. He is one of the closet friends I've had. We have known each other since we were two. "And you also have, Emmy, Sydney, and Cache." Emmy and Sydney were friends from middle school. Cache was Elena's boyfriend that I kinda became friends with.
"I know just I don't want to go back to school." I said. "I'm gonna go for a bike ride you stay here. I need some alone time and fresh air." I left the room. I ran downstairs.
"Hey Savanna I'm gonna go for a bike ride." I said.
"Ok, have fun. Be back in 3 hours." Savanna said.
"Ok I will love you." I said. She blew me a kiss. Then I opened the garage and grabbed my bike. I was just gonna go around the neighborhood. I hopped on the bike and started to peddle away. The fresh air on my face felt so nice. I needed to clear my head. But the same words kept repeating in my head.

The last one stung I couldn't anymore. I stopped in a field were no one was at and sat on a bench. I couldn't anymore. Life was so hard without my cousin, Kati, she was always there for me. A year ago she got in a car wreck and passed away I couldn't any more. I ran off to the middle of the field. I knew down and sat there. Just needing to clear my head. When I get up I see a group of teens. Oh crap. They are probably here to hurt me just when I close my eyes one with striking teal eyes walked up to me.
"It's ok we're not gonna hurt you. Do you know where we are?" He said. Then I thought. It couldn't be. I must been daydreaming.
