When the door to Haruka's room opened, she braced herself for another day of cold, harsh treatment from Akira. The past few days had been unbearable as Akira's once sweet and caring demeanor had completely vanished, replaced by a cold and distant attitude. Sitting quietly in the corner, Haruka tried to steel herself for whatever the day had in store, the confusion and hurt still fresh in her mind.
Sitting on the corner of the bed, Haruka's gaze was fixed on the floor, her thoughts filled with confusion and pain. She couldn't understand why Akira was acting so cold and distant towards her. For days, she had been subjected to the same harsh and cruel treatment, with no explanation or signs of the past warmth and love.
The silence between them was heavy, the air thick with tension. Haruka desperately wanted to break it, to demand answers and an end to this strange test of her love. But she dared not speak, knowing that Akira would just brush her off and continue with her cruel game. The guard, as usual, escorted Haruka to the big hall where breakfast was served. Today, however, there was an unexpected sight in the room - Mei. She was quietly sipping coffee and reading something in her phone. When Haruka entered, Mei looked up and gave her a nod, the faintest hint of a smile on her lips.
Haruka tentatively sat down at the big table, her eyes darting around the room to see if any other guards were present. After a moment, she began to eat her breakfast, grateful for the silence that allowed her to collect her thoughts.
As she ate, she couldn't help but look over at Mei, their eyes meeting briefly. Haruka's curiosity got the better of her, so she spoke, her voice soft. "I didn't expect to see you here."Mei raised an eyebrow at Haruka's comment, her voice cool and distant. "I have my reasons for being here." she replied, not elaborating further. The way she looked at Haruka was cold and detached, without a hint of warmth or familiarity. There was a hint of disdain in her tone, her irritation at Haruka's presence clear.
The mood in the room grew heavier with each passing moment. Mei's coldness and dislike for Haruka was palpable, creating a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. Haruka tried to ignore the tension, focusing on her breakfast, but the harshness in Mei's voice stung deep. The silence between them was deafening, the only sound being the occasional clinking of silverware against plates.
After a few minutes of uneasy silence, Haruka finally found the courage to speak up again. "Excuse me," she began, her voice soft and shy. "Where is... Akira? I thought she would be here for breakfast."
Mei didn't even look up from her phone as she dismissed Haruka's question. "Akira's busy," she replied curtly. "She won't be joining us for breakfast." Her tone suggested that Haruka's concern for Akira's whereabouts was unnecessary and unwelcome.
The heavy silence continued, with neither Haruka nor Mei speaking. In her mind, Haruka couldn't help but wonder what Akira was up to. She knew that Akira was planning something, but she had no clue as to what it was. While Haruka was lost in her thoughts, not realizing that right at that moment, Akira was in a plane on her way to Poland, hell-bent on kidnapping Haruka's best friend Nami.
With a heavy heart, Haruka resigned herself to the fact that Akira was busy and would not be joining them for breakfast. She desperately wanted to know what was keeping Akira so occupied, but she knew better than to ask. After all, Mei had made it abundantly clear that Akira's whereabouts were none of her concern. Feeling slightly defeated, Haruka pushed her half-finished plate away and sat there, didn't know what Akira was up to.
Finally, after a long and grueling flight, Akira and her guardians touched down in Poland. They wasted no time in carrying out their mission, quickly locating Nami and taking her into their custody. The entire operation was carried out with precision and quiet efficiency, leaving no trace behind. Once they had secured Nami, they prepared to make their way back to Russia, ready to implement the next phase of Akira's twisted plan.
