—As i head to the common area i place in my headphones and start BLASTING icp. I softly hum the songs as i walk towards the common area looking at the ground. As i approach the common area i get a glance as Sero throws Denki on a couch. I take out my headphones and walk fully into the room.
"Took you long enough emo" Bakugou said with a huff. "Bakubro! Be nice man!" Kirishima said before directing his attention to me. "I'm happy you came Kane!". I smile before walking further into the room revealing my outfit.
—"Kane you look... comfortable" Denki say slightly stammering. "Thanks i tried" i say as i sit near the edge of the couch shoving my headphones in its case and then my pocket.
"Can i ask why your shirt is so big?" Sero spoke with a curious tone. "it's more comfortable". The group nodded and thankfully they left me alone for a while. They begin to talk and playfully insult each other. I watch as they do so, smiling as the insults slowly get more hilarious. Mina looks at me and nudges me "You doing good newbie?" she asks in a worried tone.
"Yeah i'm just watching"
"You positive you're okay though?"
"Yeah positive"
Mina nodded before she continued in the banter once more. It was odd having someone care so much about me especially since i met her maybe 20-30 minutes ago. I felt strange towards this woman, i felt many feelings at once for her and i have no idea why. I looked at her for a moment before returning back to the group roast battle
—I didn't contribute much besides an occasional laugh or chuckle at a comment. I couldn't seem to get Mina's concern out of my head. "Why does she care?, She seemed genuinely worried?, does she wanna seem nice?, we just met she shouldn't care." I thought as i zoned out. After a couple hours of just sitting in the common room Sero looks at his phone and frown. "Aw man it's almost curfew" He stated with a sad tone. "Aw what! I was having fun.." Denki says before standing up. Bakugou rolls his eyes and stands up "About time. I'm going to bed." Before anyone can speak Bakugou walks away seemingly to his dorm. I stand up and grab my headphones in my pocket. "Yeah i'm probably gonna go to bed too. Night guys." I say. Mina stands up and hugs me.
"Aww alright night Kane!". I tense up at her hug before looking at her. "U-Uh yeah night mina.." After i say goodnight to Sero, Denki, and Kirishima i put my headphones in and walk to my dorm.
