__As the vibrant hues of dawn slowly caressed the unfamiliar landscape where Aiko found himself awakening, a sense of bewilderment intertwined with a touch of trepidation gripped his soul. Towering trees stood sentinel around him, their emerald canopy casting playful shadows across the lush grass and dense bushes that seemed to whisper age-old secrets in the gentle breeze. The surreal nature of his surroundings enveloped him like a shroud, each element painting a picture of a world beyond his comprehension.
A crimson notification suddenly popped up, [You have been selected] "Selected? Selected for what?" Aiko thought to himself, trying to process everything that happened to him so far. He was just in a dark abyss, and now he was in a sunny, lush green forest. Everything was so confusing, and he felt so tired when he first woke up in the new world he's in.
"Man... I just wanted to escape from that gosh darn cycle, but here I am - alive and well with no clue on where or who I am." He scoffed, crossing his arms when the words "You shall be my greatest creation," echoed in his brain. Was he in a story? A game perhaps? Where was he? Who was the person that 'created' him? Once again, question after question flooded his brain.
Gradually, as the fog of slumber lifted, Aiko began to make sense of the reality he now inhabited. The cryptic red notification that materialized before him, bearing the ominous declaration of being "selected," acted as a catalyst for the already swirling mix of emotions within him.
Confusion danced with a hint of apprehension as he tried to decode the significance of this abrupt proclamation. Memories of his enigmatic 'creator's' lofty words echoed in his mind, a disconcerting melody that hinted at a greater purpose or a lurking danger.
The realization that he might be a mere pawn in a grand cosmic game or the central figure in an unfolding narrative sent tendrils of doubt creeping into his consciousness.
Yet, a flicker of determination kindled within him, mingling with the curiosity that drove him to rise from the grassy ground and survey the vast expanse of the forest that unfurled before him. Each step he took, his feet guided by uncertainty but fueled by resolve, brought him closer to the heart of the unknown that beckoned like a siren's call.
The rustling leaves and the distant murmur of a hidden river created a symphony of nature that pulled Aiko towards a nearby riverbank, where he knelt by the water's edge, his reflection staring back at him with a mirror's honesty.
The stark differences between the stranger in the reflection and the image etched in his memories jarred him, a transformation that defied all logic and reason. From the alteration of his hair color to the shifting hue of his eyes, the change was profound, raising more questions than answers in the labyrinth of his mind.
Amidst a fleeting moment of self-doubt prompted by the change in his appearance, Aiko refocused on the urgency of unraveling the enigma that surrounded him. Another notification flickered into existence, detailing his modified identity in stark numerical terms: [Aiko Ki, Age: 19, speed level: 4, agility level: 2, IQ level: 6, strength level: 4]. The revelations left him in a state of contemplation and disappointment, the discrepancy between his newfound attributes and his inner ideals casting a shadow over his thoughts.
"Well, that answers my question about my identity..." he murmured, his gaze drifting towards the hazy silhouette of a distant town that shimmered like a mirage on the horizon. With a resolve forged from the necessity of understanding, Aiko traced the river's winding path, each step a testament to his journey of self-discovery.
