The sound of her heels echoed against the dock as Madelyn Sloan stepped off the boat, her heart fluttering with excitement. The villa loomed before her, sun-soaked and dazzling, its vibrant energy palpable even from a distance. She was the last female islander to arrive, and the other girls were gathered by a table, champagne flutes in hand.
Butterflies swarmed her stomach, but she kept her head high, feeling every bit like a modern-day Barbie. Her hips swayed effortlessly, the soft fabric of her dress clinging to her curves like a second skin. The sunlight framed her golden hair, cascading perfectly around her face.
A smile tugged at her lips as her gaze landed on the group of girls, their laughter and warmth immediately easing her nerves. Her grin widened into a squeal when she spotted Leah—her best friend and confidant from back home.
"Leah!" she called out, breaking into a light jog.
"Maddie!" Leah ran to meet her, the two colliding in a tight, joyful hug.
After parting, their hands instinctively linked as they approached the group. Madelyn took her time introducing herself to each girl, her natural charm and warmth drawing them in.
"Your dress is stunning," a gorgeous, dark-skinned woman in a lime-green outfit gushed.
"Thank you," Madelyn replied with an easy smile. "But look at you! You look incredible."
The woman beamed, introducing herself as Serena, while another girl—JaNa—offered a kind compliment, her soft smile radiating sincerity.
Soon, all the girls were seated together, champagne glasses glinting in the sunlight. Madelyn, seated between Leah and JaNa, felt the energy shift as the host of the show, Ariana Madix, stood before them, her iconic presence commanding attention.
"So, ladies," Ariana began, her eyes sparkling with mischief, "are you here for love, or are you just here for a good time?"
The answers varied, but when it was Madelyn's turn, she didn't hesitate.
