*Jacob POV
Milo's no fun.
He practically choked on his water when I suggested we ride my motorcycle.
"Fuck no, we're going in my car." He croaks, still choking on his water.
"Why not?" I whine, putting my water down.
"I don't wanna die." he says.
"You're not gonna die-"
He walks to one of the rooms and I follow him.
I enter his room, same size as mine, it's a bit cluttered, records hanging on the wall, posters, lights, it's messy in a nice way.
He diggs through one of his drawers, and gets his keys.
"We're going in my car," He says already walking to the front door.
I grumble, "You're stubborn aren't you?" I smile, a little.
He opens the front door, holding it open for me, "Well, you know where this coffee shop is, lead the way."
We make our way down to the underground parking and he opens the door for me.
"Oh thank you, Mr. Gentleman." I joke.
He looks away, but I can tell he's smiling, "Really?" he mumbles sarcastically.
He starts the car, "Hey, Jacob, can you pull up the adress for the coffee shop?"
"Sure," I give it to him and I just barely noticed that his car is kinda fucking fancy.
"Nice car," I say leaning a little closer to him.
"Oh thanks." He says, smiling but not looking up from his phone.
We make conversation all the way to the coffee shop, mostly just jokes and stupid remarks.
Finally, we reach the coffee place, this is my favorite place to get coffee at what Milo calls 'ungoldly hours'.
The place is a bit huge, it's on a strip of two story building's close to the LAU campus. We make our way to the shop and Milo stops and looks up.
"This place has a patio on the second floor?" he asks.
"Yup," I answer.
As we enter, the smell of coffee makes me want to doze off. The place isn't that busy right now, but there are some people studying. We place our order and wait.
"Wanna go to the patio?" I ask.
"Sure," He answers.
We climb some stairs and reach the patio/balcony.
"Well shit, this is nice," Milo says, leaning against the railing over looking part of the campus.
"I know, that's why I kinda love it here," My phone buzzes, "Hey, our order's ready."
"Oh okay,"
We get our order and get back into Milo's car. "Thanks for telling me about the coffee place," He says, starting the car.
"Hey, it was my pleasure. Now, taste the coffee." I say nudging his shoulder.
"Okay," He says, picking up his americano, "Oh shit that's good."
I lean back and put my arms behind my head, "Your welcome,"
We enter the parking lot, finish our coffee and enter the elevator to the second floor.
"Now," I start, "How's your hangover?"
Milo looks at the floor and the back at me, "Gone."
"Oh my god, the coffee cured you!" I joke, and he hits my shoulder and smirks.
"You dumbass."
We enter the apartment and everyone is still asleep.
Milo takes me to his bedroom.
We sit on his bed and he turns on the tv that he has in his room.
"What do you wanna watch?" He asks, wrapping himself in a blanket.
"Whatever is fine, but I gotta ask, you barely even know me, but you still trust me enough to let me in your room, joke with you, and other shit. Why do you trust me?" I ask, a smirk forming on my lips.
He leans on the back of his bed, scrolling on Netflix. I can see him look away, he tries to hide his red face.
"You're chill, so I trust you." he says.
I sigh, "Good enough answer for me- oh that show's cool."
We ended up talking and watching some shit until like 6 A.M.
Then we woke up everyone and treated hangovers, went to class, and hung out as a group the rest of the day.
I think I like it here.
