[Haerin's pov]

I woke up by the sound of my alarm, i noticed that Danielle was not beside me

I stood up and got out of my room, i looked around the house and she was nowhere around, i saw Hanni unnie on the couch she's already in school uniform

"Unnie where's Dani?" I asked hoping that she would know

"She went to the school really early today..." she replied, i nodded and prepared my breakfast.

[{Time Skip, at school}]

[Danielle's pov]

I was sitting on the bench in the school garden listening to music alone, did she really forgot it's my birthday today?

I sighed.

I checked my wrist watch it was still really early i was the first student her in our school good thing the guards are already here and let me in

i took my phone and checked the photos, woah... i didn't know i only have one photo with Haerin...

I really can't remember when we took this picture but I'll always keep this with me

I closed my phone and walked to the library, as i arrived i saw three girls sitting together as i got near them it was Hanni, Minji and Hyein...

Wait... where's Haerin?

I approached the three of them "Oh.. . hi Dani!" Hanni greeted, smiled at her

"Where's Haerin?" i asked

"oh... she headed that way, she's probably looking for you..." Minji spoke pointing at the school garden

huh? why didn't i notice anyone there then? i was there earlier...

I ran out out the library and headed to the garden i saw no one... it's empty are they messing with me? where's she?!

I continued walking until i arrived at the fountain and there she is sitting on the bench in front of it drawing something while listening to music

She realized that i was watching her, it's strange that she quickly closed her sketch book and smiled at me "What are you doing here?" i asked

"I was trying to find you earlier but i couldn't... so i just sat here..." she said plainly, why the heck is she acting so different since yesterday? is she ignoring me?

[{Time Skip}]

[Haerin's pov]

I was sitting on my table waiting for our professor to arrive, i took my sketch and continued to finish it... i hope Dani likes it... Wait... i have to color this... it would look lifeless if i didn't.

Soon after the professor finally came she's with a boy... what? professor didn't talk about a new student

"Class this is Yang Jungwon our new student, please be nice to him" Said the professor

Jungwon huh? hope he's not going to be another bully to me...

"Jungwon... feel free to choose your seat..." our professor said again

I became nervous when he sat beside me "Hi..." he greeted shyly "What's your name?" he asked "Uhh... Kang Haerin..." i replied

He raised his hand for a handshake, i smiled softly and shook his hand.

[Third person's pov]

As the class goes by Haerin and Jungwon got closer to each other, they started talking about funny and cute things, they bonded really well.

"Haerin... how long have you been experiencing getting bullied?" Jungwon asked worriedly "it's fine if you don't tell me..." He added

"I experienced it since my aunt died... she died seven years ago..." Haerin replied while continuing her drawing

Jungwon's eyes widen "Seven years?! that's... that's horrible..." He mumbled staring at Haerin's art "Yeah... it is." Haerin replied as she coloured her drawing

"hmm... that drawing is so cute... a cat and a dog huh? you look like the cat one..." Jungwon changed the subject

Haerin chuckled "It is actually me..." she replied Jungwon nodded slowly "how about the dog one? who's she or maybe he?" He asked curiously

"she's Danielle" Haerin answered, Jungwon raised his brows "Do you mind if i ask you her last name?" He asked once more "Marsh... her last name is Marsh..." Haerin replied as she examine her art

Jungwon's eyes widen "You know my cousin?" He asked "Uhm... she's your cousin?" Haerin replied curiously, Jungwon nodded "Her father is my mother's big brother..." said Jungwon.

[{Time skip, Lunch}]

[Third person's pov]

Jungwon and Haerin we're walking around the cafeteria trying to find a table, once Jungwon found an empty table he held Haerin's hand and ran towards it, they sat across each other

They ate their lunch peacefully as they talk about random things. As time passed by it's finally time to go home, Haerin took her bag quickly and ran out of the classroom

"Hey Haerin wait!!" Jungwon shouted as he ran after her, Haerin stopped her movements and look back at him

"Why are you in a hurry?" Jungwon asked, panting heavily "We have a surprise party for Dani today!" Haerin exclaimed happily

"Oh shi- god!!! i forgot!!! it's April 11 today!!!" Jungwon panicked

Haerin laughed at him "Can i join you guys for surprising her? she doesn't know I'm her in korea..." Jungwon pleaded, Haerin nodded and took his hand as they both ran out of the school

"Who will distract Dani?" Jungwon asked as both of them ran to the location of the beach resort near the school that Hanni booked for them

"Hyein... Me, Hanni and Minji unnie will be preparing everything until 8 in the evening..." Haerin replied as they ran.

They arrived at the resort panting heavily they their bags on the ground "What the..." Hanni ran towards them, Minji followed her

"Unnie am i late?" Haerin asked "no you arrived in time... wait who's he?" Hanni asked pointing at Jungwon who was still panting

"I'm Jungwon... Dani's cousin..." He replied as he panted

Hanni just nodded, Minji gave the both of them water.
