[Third person's pov]

As the party started Haerin and Hanni brought out the gifts they all prepared for Dani.

Haerin stared at the painting she did, worried that Dani won't like it, Hanni patted her shoulder reassuring her that everything will be fine

"Unnie... what if she doesn't like me back?" Haerin asked worry visible on her eyes, Hanni gave her a reassuring smile "Don't worry about it Haerin... I can clearly tell that she likes you... just go for it"

Haerin let out a heavy sigh and took a deep breath before going out of the room.

She found Jungwon, Minji and Dani chatting on the couch enjoying the soft music that was being played the lights making it better as it sync with the beats

Dani saw Haerin at the corner staring at them with a small smile plastered on her face, she quickly stood up and approached the girl

"Haerin what are you doing there? come join us" She pulled Haerin towards the couch she didn't realize that Haerin was actually holding her gift for her "For you..." Haerin handed her gift to Dani

Dani smiled "Is this a canvas?" she asked with a smirk because she can clearly tell that it's literally canvas inside.

She slowly unwrapped the gift and was surprised on what she saw, her eyes almost tearing up because of how much it resembled the both of them having fun together.

She was grinning widely as she stared at the painting, she noticed how it was colored and not just plain. it was her first time seeing Haerin use color on her art.

Haerin wiped the tears that was about to flow down on Dani's cheeks, Dani pulled her in a tight hug "Thank you Haerin... i like it..." She whispered softly

Haerin exhaled and hugged Dani back her smile growing wider, she was planning to confess this night around 8:45 pm, the exact time Dani was born.

[{Time skip, 6:47 pm}]

[Danielle's pov]

Me and Haerin we're dancing at the dancefloor, and to be honest Haerin looked pretty tired tonight but she was still smiling... i can see how happy she is in her eyes but it didn't remove the fact that she looked tired

it must be extremely exhausting to prepare for my birthday sorry Haerin.

As the song ended Haerin headed to the counter for yep you guessed it right... beer, I just sighed at the cheeky smile she has on her face as she looked back at me I turned my gaze towards Jungwon and noticed him staring at Haerin lovingly

I slowly approached him and snapped my fingers snapping him out of his thoughts.

"What on your mind wonie?" She asked playfully, Jungwon laughed and playfully pat her shoulder, "Nothing, just happy that you're 21 now and also I'm very happy that you're happy tonight..."

[8:37 pm: Third person's pov]

Jungwon had already decided to go home because of his school work leaving the girls on the resort because they'll be spending the night there and he just came to surprise Danielle anyway.

The girls were at the mini club on the resort Hanni and Danielle were on the counter chatting about y'know... Danielle's age and how does she feel that she's 21?

Minji and Haerin on the other hand was preparing to confess for Danielle tonight, they were assembling the mic and whispering on each other if there's anything else needed while Hanni was distracting Danielle

Meanwhile Hyein was just vibing at the song cause she loved it so much.

This is taking so long for Haerin to confess why am i doing this? because i want it longer :p

And finally the time has come... Haerin got on the mini stage and tap the mic to gather Danielle and Hanni's attention she took a deep breath and glanced at Minji who was giving her a supportive smile

At first Haerin didn't know why Danielle and her got along so well cause Danielle is literally her opposite side but she's more than happy that they got along

Haerin never had feelings for someone, Danielle gas always been her first and it was deeper than you think it is she loved how Danielle bring her the energy she can't even explain how good it feels

Danielle had brought out the best version of her, she made her feel loved and special more than anyone else, and at first she tried to cut off her feelings for her... but she couldn't help but to fall deeper for her everyday.

And now, it's time for Danielle to know how she felt for her, she would take the risk of Danielle not liking her back no matter what, but she really hope for Danielle to like her too.

[8:45 pm: Finally]

"Danielle Marsh... the most special girl i have in my heart right now... first-things-first i want to tell you that I'm very happy that you're finally 21! and... i just wanted to tell you that, when you came into my life, at first we dreamt of each other... while sleeping... and that forehead kiss you gave me will always have a safe place in my heart, you made me feel things i didn't know was possible Dani... I've kept my walls up protecting my heart for falling for someone but you... you broke it so quickly I can't even imagine a life without my sunshine in it, you always gave me that energy... energy to continue living my life properly and that's one of the things i really wanted to thank you, you always made me feel cherished, loved and many more it's very intimidating to be honest... because you're the only one who made me feel that way and it was the deepest feeling ever, I never really wanted to fall in love with anyone, but what can i do? my heart always longed for your presence everytime we're not together. And i wanted to tell you that i lik- no... i think i already love you..."

Once Haerin finished her confession, Danielle walked towards her "Can i ask you a question?" Danielle suddenly asked making Haerin nervous as hell but she nodded anyway

"What took you so long Haerin?"

"... what do you-"

Danielle cut her off with a gentle kiss.
